Не только танец, но и драматическое дарование Даниила Симкина глубоко впечатляет и не оставляет равнодушным... Столько нежности и сопереживания, столько глубоких и искренних эмоций у такого молодого артиста радуют и трогают своей чистотой!
BRAVO! BRAVISSIMO! VIVA SIMKIN! A great Solor with technical bravura and passionate details of the famous role. I saw your Blue Bird at the Metropolitan Opera house recently and it was stunning bringing the sold out house to wild ovations, the voles were particularly great. Bravo!
I don't think that Daniil is not mature enough to dance this role.He will never have the physic of Nikolai Tsiskaridze! But his physic suits to his wonderful style, and to his own personality! He is a very great artist,a very musical dancer,a very rare quality!Daniil is a visionary,a fresco painter,he flies when he dances! And Miki Hamanaka is a very good partner for him.Wonderful!
Gorgeous Solor variation in the main pas de deux. Nicely danced. I must say that you have a beautiful arabesque - you don't often see such a pleasing arabesque in a male dancer. Best to you.
i think he fits the role kinda good, its one version of solor, where ivan vasiliev is another version he fits the role of a spoiled prince quite well :P where vasiliev fits the warrior prince :P
dani,....do not listen to all the comments here! You are on stage and they are not....at your young age you have been with most well know ballet companies they have not. Also baryshnikov was short, nuryrev and nijinsky were sort of femenine....the ballet world is open to all as long as you can dance and are willing to take all the pain that comes with it. So just keep dancing and banking the money since in five or ten years it will be over. Either your mind or body will get sick of it all.
Simkin is a great dancer but ill suited for this role (and many others leading romantic male roles). He simply doesn't inspire passion or desire. yes his technique is superb but that's besides the point.
He looks like a student. He's looks like he's so concern about posing while the ballerina is not secure. What happened to the Carlos Acosta's in ballet...
