Sounds racially charged? How is this the "good" version of twitch streamers getting rappers on stream? This is a formal podcast/interview vs a stream where rappers normally come to actually HAVE FUN, be loud and mess around. Different circumstance. Fun =/= bad. This why u all miserable.
i thought it was super cool too. it makes sense realistically though, he was featured on a quadeca album and quadeca is in the same realm as underscores and jane remover. i feel like danny sits in a really cool cross over zone of rap and hyper pop/ alt culture
Awesome interview guys! Loved the vinyl discussion at the end, I met Danny before a show and told him I almost brought my XXX vinyl but I’m glad I didn’t because it was snowing by the time I got to the venue. Getting that record wet would’ve devastated me and not been worth a signature, meanwhile dudes near the mosh pits were holding their records that were absolutely trashed. Treat the vinyl with respect!

Just saw him live on his first night of the tour in Boston. One of the best shows I've ever been to! Can't believe how far this channel has come. Started watching when I thought it was just a Radiohead stan blowing his dad's mind and stayed through the years as many of my favorite albums are covered. Danny Brown is such an inspirational artist to me Not only is his music exceptional as it is, but you can definitely tell he's putting his heart and soul into it. It's also obvious he has this profound appreciation for music by the way he's speaking so greatly about some of the best contemporary artists these days (like underscores, Jane Remover, 100 gecs). Peak recognizes peak! Honestly warms my heart, and makes me appreciate his music so much more (if that's even possible) Thanks for this amazing video, one of my favs on the channel now :)

This is sort of sad. lol This is a fantastic channel, absolutely. But this website also has so many other extremely talented and enjoyable channels. You have to find them. But that's with any sort of entertainment. What is popular is rarely ever going to be the best, just takes a bit of effort to find those things worthwhile below the surface.

Wow! I’m surprised, but not somehow. This is one channel where I’ve noticed that the commentary is 100% genuine, and heartfelt. And honestly the go-to when I need a review about an artist or their music. And I guess these artists can see that these two gentlemen are true music fans, and have a musical background themselves, so it’s probably, hopefully, that more artists will want to go to this warm and comfortable, respectful environment.
