Checkpoints are not a problem if you and the vehicle you are driving are in safe condition and not putting you and other road users at risk in fact I would welcome more checks and instant loss of licence for mobile phone use when driving.

It’s not the man or woman with 2 or 3 pints out on the country road is killing if u look at the statistics it’s always in a built up area and a busy country major road but these accidents happen because of sppeed and a lot of drink or drugs on board
