I actually I think this is the best performance on Strictly ever. Danny Mac was robbed. Amazing choreography by Oti (who is a Queen) but in this dance Danny looks like the professional - which is high praise indeed.

THE FIRST SAMBA TO EVER GET 40 ON STRICTLY AND WELL DESERVED! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL😯😯4️⃣0️⃣ Danny is mesmerising and Oti's choreography is just wonderful. I'm in awe!

I'm glad Oti got her win with Kelvin but IMO it should've been her second. Danny was the best male contestant in all 17 seasons of this show.

To score a perfect 40 in a samba routine is an incredible job well done and fully deserved. Completely captured the essence of the samba and its origins. The line between the professional and celebrity is completely non existent. They compliment each other so well. He takes the lead and looks like he is loving every second. Fantastic.

I'm struggling to think of a more talented celebrity than Danny in any season of Strictly. Put that talent with the extraordinary choreography and brilliance of Oti and you produce something magical.

OHMYGAHT!!!! That was... I can't even! HOLY POO!!!! That had sooooo much content, so many steps that in all my years of watching Dancing with the Stars and Strictly, I don't recall seeing a female pro throw at her partner. Ever. And Danny nailed them!! Shoot, I can't even think of the male pros throwing so many moves at their partners in the samba. My word, my sentence, my paragraph! Otlile Mabuse, ma'am! You are a goddess and a queen! THAT WAS HOTTTTTTT!!!!!

OH.MY.GOODNESS! I have to rewatch this routine after it finishes because I was glued to Oti from the first viewing. That tribal African dance, this is Samba back to its genesis! I mean, Danny's hip action is DANGEROUS. That 'African walk' he did!!! This is Mark Ramprakash + Matt Baker in steroids to be sure! I like that slo-mo Samba moves in the beginning and then two different rolls, voltas, bounce, promenades etc. etc. etc. It's a Samba masterclass! If there is eleven I would have given them! 10!

This is honest to God one of the best dances I've seen on Strictly. Oti and Danny were so in sync, and so free yet sure of their moves, its like they actually spontaneously broke into dance and this was the result. Oti is a f*cking brilliant choreographer.

Still think it’s an absolute joke and that SCD has to be fixed for a man of this unbelievable talent did not win. Danny and Oti were absolutely robbed of the glitterball trophy. He should clearly have won and he has been the best Male celeb dancer by miles since Mark Ramprakash.

Back again to rewatch for the zillionth time - just cannot get any better than this energy and choreography. Always makes me wanna get up and dance. There’s something so raw about the way they danced it that I’ve never seen before or since in all the series of Strictly 💃 🕺🏻

It took 14 seasons to get the first 40 points Samba, and then six more years for that to happen again! Fleur and Vito's Samba is awesome too, but this routine is still my all time favourite. There's just some magic happening here!

Without question the best SCD performance, ever. The choreography is absolutely perfect for the song, and the song absolutely perfect for the choreography. in awe every time I watch it.

okay I think Dany is one of if not the best celeberty male dancer to ever be on strictly, his technique are amazing with a high level performance( which was my big issue with Jay who had neutral expressions through his most dances, I actually joked about how his showdance song"I cant feel my face" was very fitting for his journey on the show).

I've never, EVER, watched Strictly. Saw a clip of Danny and Oti on Gogglebox and, like probably half the country, have watched that clip a zillion times, freakin amazing dancing and Magalenha is such sexy tune. Samba is just the best. Wish I could dance like Oti!

I have to whole heartedly agree with the comment that Oti and Danny were the most iconic dancers EVER to Grace the floor with their Class Above A dances. No one has stood to beat them yet🌟. May there be an opportunity where they can possibly dance again together. The haters of these two need to stop their jealous and keep it moving 🦵
