Also, if you live what is often labeled a Western Country (Europe and North America), coffee is not something that can be locally produced, it has to be shipped in. Now, I know there are some coffee-plantations in central America, so in the Southern states of the US it may not be that far, but for the northern states and Canada and, of course, Europe as well, it is definitely a luxury product, just considering the distance it has to travel to reach us. All it takes is a break somewhere in the long supply chain and it becomes a luxury item once again. And I've seen firsthand what some people are willing to pay for an everyday luxury item once it becomes rare. There's a brand of chocolate milk in my homecountry and when they had a problem with supply and demand there were people selling their packages online for much more than what it usually goes for at the store.
@@noxtrin1878 Why, yes, yes I am. You too remember the harsh... weeks? Days? of the great Oboy-famine that swept our poor nation? Dark times. Dark times, indeed.
@@theyakkoman I remember those dark ages well. Me being a poor child, waking up on a Saturday morning and when I mix my cup of milky chocolate goodness it had to be a Ica Basic powder. Truly the trauma of my time.
I still love the fact that Danny Pudi worked with David Tennant on Ducktales... It felt like the community x doctor who crossover I desperately needed.
Danny's ability to tap into his inner idiosyncratic nerd is what made Abed's character so good. For me he's exactly what I'd expect him to be like in real life.
That'd be funny if Danny showed up in the background as Abed looking for Troy. It's not like Atlanta is not suceptible for meta stuff, it has plenty fantasy moments.
@@clairekaplan7417 unless they are called Ruth, in which case they have... one ruth So not actually ruthless in that case, but that's not exactly a lot of ruths I should probably go to sleep now.
@@SwissTanuki there's clearly a decent sized crowd in attendance. not full capacity, likely mostly staff, but enough that I was expecting more reaction. compare to the into/outro applause. they shafted my man Danny
This is the man of the people right here. Those other fancy celebrities can have there luxury cars and private planes. This man just wants coffee and he has a commemorative bulls towel with a beer stain still on it. Definitely one of the most normal guys they can interview and you can actually feel connected to in a real way.
As i was watching this on my lunch break (which i’d been anticipating all morning so i could watch😭) my manager informed me that Danny’s got some new stuff coming up, and I’m so excited!! So glad he’s getting more recognition now and i can’t wait to see what’s next ily danny pudi
I can't watch this in any other way than Abed doing his brilliant impression of a 'perfectly normal' person, where all these anecdotes, confidence and smiles are carefully rehearsed and imitated and it's freaking me out. And it's just so meta
1:08 it was one of my favorite episodes, his character was amazing and he deserved much more development, I'm glad they show more about Brad. And off course, Danny deserves more screen time (in addition to recognition)
oh, really really nice socks that look good? and fit you just right? and don't ride up or down? and are comfy? That really IS luxury and I don't even run lol
the absolute DISRESPECT from the audience- the same 2 people would laugh and clap for him, I don’t think everyone else realizes what a legend this man is. how funny, how talented, how great this man is. if i were there i would be cheering thrice as loud as everyone else there, basically, what he deserves.
When my therapist asks me to "think big" on what I want out of life. Literally my response is.. 1. good coffee 2. novelty socks 3. Edibles arrangements
