When you spend thousands of dollars and invest your time into building him with the proper cards and have his exclusive at 4 stars and when the boss doesn't move around and you perfectly aim him every single attack without missing anything, he can do damage.

@@nothardic the buffs BT provides are quite substantial, even compared to an EX SI. Even at base he’s just a straight upgrade. Granted, NJ should have either just went full in on a support or DPS character. Can’t always do both.
