I remember nearly 10 years ago.. it was difficult to try to show some of these cats I was around.. in the metal genre .. friends etc.. the magnitude of his playing and writing.. I was in awe from the start.. all we had were low quality live Danza and GC videos and the rouge Danza 3 tracking clips of him tearing through 12-21-12… and low and behold here he is, a master of his craft.. flexing at the highest quality.. much love JT.
My cats around still don't get it. Not JT and not even me, and my stuff is far more simple than JT's ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iIeOEExas_s.html 🤷♂️
"Paul Bunyan and the Blue Ox" showed up in my RU-vid recommended in 2012/2013 and I knew something was up, this was special, some of the most hauntingly dark and heavy shit I had ever heard, I ended up listening to the whole album and then buying it and listening to it on repeat for a while.
11 years have passed since the release of the album Alpha - Omega. And even today in 2023, this album is a real unsurpassed masterpiece. One of the best metal albums ever made on this planet.
The fact that he clearly still has so much fun playing these songs is such a testament to the material Danza blessed us with🤌🏾 All us old djent kids forever holding on to the dream that we'll see this stuff played live~
I love Josh Travis, he's one of the most underrated guitarists of all time, like sure technicality and solos are great, but Josh makes something special and unique and everything he makes is just gold. I love his Twitch, it really helps to display his amazing talent and kindness. If you're new to Josh Travis, stay around, he will blow your mind.
Honestly this kinda shit in a lot of ways is way harder to do then any type of old school shredding you can hear. The rhythmic precision is in a masterclass of its own
You should not. Just support ur favorite artists with money so they could afford doing it and not just survive. Everything stops not having sponsorship.
It's third, I think. Here's the second ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eo_LyRyyIqU.html and here is the first I guess ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_i0IcmVtQIU.html
Check out psyopus and even GAZA and tell me if you think those bands are similar i personally do but am curious if other people consider that the same as danza and Josh's style.
Damn to be honest not sure but because I can see he's not pushing the whammy down or pulling the floating bridge up, I'd imagine that its 1. a pedal like the Digitech Whammy... but I'd suspect more likely that its an expression pedal straight to his Axe-FX programmed to pitch shit / octave down or 2. its a pregrogrammed sound in this situation
@@acidNject But it sounds so fucking massive dude! From what I figured hes tuned to F but that shit sounds below B0, thats why i thought maybe its a weird technique I don't know correct me if im wrong :O
