thats because he wasnt torturing him the right way ... gotta burn money in front of him ... melt his 1st coin .... well dating his daughter is more relief for him than punishment .... BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT !
yeah like travis femmell and ragnar those guys whas born To play those caracter. same with jeffrey dean Morgan and negan like there are made To their personnages
I personally feel that Ben Affleck would play a perfect adaptation of the punisher. He played cold emotionless punisher-esque characters in Zack Snyder's Batman and The Accountant (which coincidentally also casted Bernthal), and looks like the punisher from the "Punisher Max" comic panels. However, Bernthal manages to add something more to the Punisher than him just being a mindless killer. There's a lot more character to Bernthal's take, hence why he works so well on screen. Although I would love to how Ben Affleck could play the role, if the punisher does come back, I wouldn't want anyone other than Jon Bernthal to play the part.
This is why I love The Punisher. Completely unapologetic about putting criminals down. He enjoys it, seeks it out. He's not swayed by anyone's words or feelings. Not affected by "you're no different than they are". He accepts that he is The Punisher, a killer, and violence is his home. It's an aspect I also love about Daredevil. Though he doesn't kill, he is unapologetic about beating the shit out of criminals and enjoys doing it. Didn't plan on stopping, no matter how much anyone tried to convince him.
Honestly, I love that dynamic with them. Both enjoy the thrill of battle and violence, but Daredevil is just (generally) better at reigning it in to not become a murderer. Even Punisher still has _some_ standards. Heck, earlier, when Daredevil suggested that he helped kill a criminal "just this once", Punisher shoots it down by reminding him that outright killing a criminal is a line that can't be returned from, implicitly trying to save Daredevil from becoming like him.
I love how people try and talk some sense into the punisher (even though it doesn't make sense) he just blows them off, bc his sense of justice over takes his morals
@@prof-eon Nah, he doesn't like killing in general, per say. As mentioned many times before, the Punisher MAX series written by Garth Ennis and Jason Aaron aren't canon to the main universe whatsoever and do not apply. The actual canonical reason is more that Frank doesn't really do what he does out of justice, he does it out of hate. Hate for those who harm the innocent, not for a sense of justice. But in the case of his justifications for doing what he does being simply excuses, you're right.
@@FrancisCastiglione he's mentioned liking killing in canon too, latest moment of that was when DD killed a guy and Frank kidnapped him to make him admit he liked it
@@prof-eon After his family died, Frank tried to bring the culprits to justice by legal means, helping the police officers in the investigations for months, Frank also tried to expose the case in the media, but they only took advantage of him. When the case was dropped and the culprits were freed, including killing a friend of Frank's, he realized he had no way of punishing those men by legal means. What he does is not morally right, but it is necessary.
And it's not really his sense of moral It's more his dislike over the Twisted legal system Like say he spares schoonover and he tries to take them to the police he would just charm them and he walks out free
@@WexMajor82 From "Daredevil" Season 2, Episode 3: "New York's Finest" -- Punisher to Daredevil, "You know, you're one bad day away from being me." That is the quote I was referring to. Not what the Joker said. There must be quite a few versions of that quote in many places said by many people or characters. You know, you could have found that out if you bothered to look....
@@abcun17 Wow, don't get all defensive on me. It's just most commonly attributed to the Joker. Put "one bad day" on your search engine, and go for images.
@@WexMajor82 You said: "That's the Joker, you know that, right?". I replied to you that I wasn't referring to what the Joker said, but in the context of my original comment, I was referring to the specific quote the Punisher said to Daredevil. If that isn't clear enough...I don't know what to tell you dude.
I like how you can see Frank piecing together what schoonover said about Kandahar, he very quickly realised he was talking about Frank assaulting Rawlins and he visually confirmed it when schoonover said you think they’d let that go and Karen asked what he’d done. Jon Bernthal is and always will be the Punisher
Well I mean technically no, in every incarnation the family is murdered in Central Park. So it was a brutal jab at Franks inability to save his family.
@@jermainharris8493 still could be a shout out for the 2004 movie just like the fight scene at the gym in the punisher netflix tv show is obviously a shout out to the russian waldo
@@jaymann6463 it’s not a grunt but most do let out a loud quick puff of breath. Sounds like a grunt. When I was younger, one of my dad’s friends accidentally popped himself in the head. It sounded like a grunt and long ass growl came from him.
@@jaymann6463 I was way too young to remember him or even know him. Too young to realize what happened. But thanks though. I’m just happy it didn’t have an effect on my life.
He didn't need to protract his death at all, it wouldn't make a difference. With everything that he had learned about why his family died, Frank knew that his job wasn't done, so it wouldn't be satisfying anymore.
It's never about revenge. Taking a life that is not yours to take will always come with a punishment. What Frank does isn't just necessary, it's justified. People will never know until it happens to them. It's there buried deep in every person's heart and it's there not to make people afraid but to remind people that at the end of the day we are human. Killing is always going to be the wrong, or the sin but, when everything that is real, everything that is there and is pure and alive, is taken not just from you but from this world, if you have the ability to take action then you have the responsibility to take action. Castle isn't some crazed broken killer, he's what's necessary for peace. The most fear you can have for evil men is fear the indifference of good men.
Noone noticed this but he said "you should’ve taken your family to the Bahamas not Central Park", in the punisher movie we see his family die on an exotic island im unsure if it was the Bahamas but im guessing its a reference
Since the mcu has introduced things such as variants, or absolute points in time, I have a feeling that the death of franks family is an absolute point in time. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember a single story or comic where his family lives and he doesn’t go into this downward spiral as the punisher. This is just always going to happen to him no matter what timeline he’s in. It’s actually kind of sad.
Karen had no type of relationship with this man. She only seen him 2 times outside of court😭 she throws herself into danger time and time again and see him kill yet she thought he was gonna stop magically just cuz she's pretty🤦🏾♂️
