@@jeremykrause9443 i understand that but punisher seems more believable with someone that looks unstable, less social, and has much more of a mental struggle
Him and the dude that portrayed matt murdock are meant for each role. I hope they somehow make their way into the mcu or at least give them more seasons.
and doing it without preaching the whole damn time. no talking your way out of this shit. Denzel in Man on Fire, only Denzel just can't look scary no matter what they do to him in a makeup room. Berthal looks scary and he has a really great roar. Like Jackman, I think he got the Wolverine role as much for his roar as his look.
The bald guy's acting is really good. You can really hear the desperation and thoughts racing through his head. We knew Frank was gonna kill him but this guy was really in disbelief right up until Frank killed him.
Before this fight, these guys had seen Frank Castle single-mindedly and silently hit a brick wall with a sledgehammer for hours every day. And...they still chose to mess with him?
Even if he hit him with the head, skin is squishy/spongy All the bones would cave in but still have a face Source: nurse whos dealt with patients beat by hammers of varrying types
Funny how Lance wanted to kill the New Guy because they were worried about him talking, but when Frank starts interrogating Lance, Lance tells him almost immediately
2:08 "It was him or us!" I love this line and this delivery. This is the moment he knows he's going to die and why. He blurts out a final confession. And instead, it's a lame excuse. This is exactly the kind of character we like to see the Punisher take down. Great writing and great acting.
1:16 nobody talks about it but that roll always makes me realize how tactical and skilled frank is, some people would just expect frank to run at the guy and beat him to a pulp but no, he's smart and tactical enough to know when to strike
@@thebigenchilada678 I would say the dumbest part is when the guy shoots the handle of the sledge hammer, 9mm wouldve went straight through that and into frank lol.
@@DavidJimenez-jp6gm Maybe but deciding to do so arbitrarily and abruptly causes chaos. The Punisher was never deputized so if any innocent people get hurt it’s fault.
@@ggkk8909 that's a scary thought. in the comics he's worn the war machine armor, and did a fuckton of damage. if he had thor's hammer, i'm not sure i'd want to see what he not only COULD do with it, but what he WOULD do with it. and if it were the mark2 variant with the axe blade, ummmm ouchies. that would be a bad mix.lol. had to throw a little deadpool in there to make the thought have a little humor.lol
This is why you don’t mess with the Punisher. He may not have any super powers, but that not stoping him for a second. Frank Castle is an absolute animal, and I love it!
@@francocuevas9790 Actually I had to look that up. Had never heard of it hehe. I was just thinking of the most respectful way someone would reply to Death itself.
the last scene was fucking painful, imagine you knee shattered into 100 new small bones and this guy put his all weight in the wound making those 100 into 1000
I personally have never been brutally attacked with a sledgehammer, but if this is anything similar to what it would really be like, seems like it must suck really fuckin bad....
just imagining somebody slamming it full force onto your spine where there's no flesh to dullen it or shattering someone's knee cap is..painful...to say the least
"Good home"... having nightmares every night and hammering into a wall day in day out is the definition of a "good home" to you? I don't think he left home but he came home, because he got to do what he does best, killing some criminals
One thing I love about the MCU, is that it feels like everything is happening all at once even when we're not watching something else. It feels like Punisher is inflicting pain with a hammer, while Peter Parker builds a LEGO Death Star, as Tony flies into enemy occupied territories; and then Hulk and Thor are battling on Sakar.
@@handsomesquidward5160 if you freeze it the guy Frank went ham on his head with the sledgehammer, his eye is missing and his nose and forehead are smashed in and the other eye falls on the innocent man they pushed in the cement mixer There's a RU-vidr on here who freeze framed it if you want to watch it
Yeah. It would be strange, but not enough that anyone would be calling the police for a while. Would've given frank and donald all the time they needed to dissapear.
@@thomasthetank5544 Now that I think about it, the bullet holes and blood stains probably wouldn't help either. I guess throwing their bodies in the cement was more poetic justice then anything else. Kinda like how Frank ended up breaking Lance's legs and stealing his car, just like he said the Gnuccis threatened to do.
Na. The original plan was to make someone dissapear, and never be found in a new pour. The foreman was either told not to ask, or knew enough to keep his mouth shut.
You just put C.N. in the same sentence as Frank Castle. Not cool. Frank is so far above the chest-haired "legend" C.N. Frank has confidence, not pride. Frank doesn't rely on others to satisfy this fact. Frank also does not grow out his chest hair to such a degree that it becomes a fighting flaw. (some will get reference)
It isn't fearless that makes him an unstoppable force. It's the rage that never simmers. He shuns death with memory of things he can never have back. A rage only a parent would know
If you look at his eye right at 0:29, you can see it twitch. You know he's reaching his limit, and that wasn't just a warning he told them but he was giving them chance before "hell broke loose"
I Watching it for the 3rd time now hes one of my Favorite marvel Protagonist i hope he Comes back and it has to be r rated. Also hope he will meet other heroes like spiderman like in the comics
Actually Frank Castle cares about being a "Good Guy" (At least Frank Castle from the series), and the thing about killing, he is used to killing from back in Afghanistan.
In some of the comics is hinted that Mephisto keep Frank alive cause he want him suffering and causing suffering to others. So Frank have unusually good luck, the devils luck.
I have read most if not all of the Punisher Max comics written by Mr. Garth Ennis. The portrayal of Punisher in this series truly brings the character to life. I'd highly recommend the Punisher Max comics to any fan of the Punisher. Totally worth it!
@@markchristianfernandez483 imagine if he was upgraded with captain Americans super soldier serum and he was worthy of holding mjolnir and was upgraded with wolverines powers and gifted the power of the ghost rider
When I first selected this serie on Netflix I had some doubts about how good it will be. But when Frank Castle smashed that boy's heard with the hammer, then I knew I picked the right show and I was right. This serie is 🔥
I absolutely love the punisher because he knows what he does isnt exactly clean work but he was never really used to “clean” He manages to do so many amazing things and manages to impress without any powers or anything. Just guns, fighting skill and tolerance
This is why I like the punisher series. His always in control of his rage. Everybody always thinks he always losing control, but he's always kills with a reason. He never acts out without a reason. If you watch this episode Lance and the others always bully him, but Frank didn't lose control, or maybe just break a finger or two. Because that is not a good enough reason to kill someone....
I remember holding a true thomas jane loyalty for years, not listening to anyone on the hype and just ignored the series. Then one day i figured screw it years after it released. Soon as this episode ended with this, i was instantly obsessed flipped my loyalty to bernthal and watched the entire series within a week. Absolute masterpiece
