I doubt Marvel Studios themselves even knew if the shows were canon or not. They're probably just buying time to make an official decision since some things don't make sense, but the shows are already tied too close to the MCU to ignore, so it's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario.

I think that's spot on! He made a point to say "its how I Brad Winderbaum sees it" not speaking on behalf on the studio cos like you said they dont want to commit one way or the other just yet. Woooo another Marvel video! I really enjoy your takes and research. I'm def gonna watch Echo since it's casual fan friendly. I'm honestly very interested in how the execs and other pivotal leads will steer the MCU. If it goes great, I'm sure it'll be an awesome experience. However, if it crashes it'll be like a car crash you just can't look away from. I'm here for it. Great job ❤

At this point I think everything is "canon" since the introduction of the multiverse. If there are infinite possibilities as far as universes go, there is definitely a Universe where Mister J is both Spiderman and J Jonah Jameson and it's all just a marketing scheme to sell more newspapers. You heard it here first: Mister J is MCU canon. The REAL question now is, "is it Sacred Timeline?" and honestly that doesn't even matter anymore cause they'll just splice the parts they want into the main timeline if they need to.

Good video. I feel like the word “Canon” was made only so studios can come out with movies or shows and if any of them are flops they can just turn around and say “don’t worry! That’s not Canon anyways”! And I don’t know if anyone else noticed this or not. But the MCU actually tested the “multi-verse” storyline before actually introducing it! Does anyone know in what movie they did that in?

All netflix shows mentioned iron-man and the avengers. They made she-hulk the alternative universe, including all the charaters in it. Daredevil from netflix became main MCU in Spíder-man NWH. They are in the same New York.

1:02- The better Daredevil has been in Canon (MCU) since the last Spider-Man movie! He was Peter Parker’s lawyer. And if you say ANYTHING BAD ABOUT MY SPIDY THERE WILL…. BE…..WAR!!! Lmao I am 100% joking with that last bit! But yeah, they are saying that it is official now because of “this movie or show or whatever it is now” only because this is pretty much the only way they can get some of those fans back that they started to lose and refuses to watch a bunch of the last shows/movies they made and get them to give their money to Disney again! I loved the Netflix’s Daredevil show! It was great and it did a lot of the characters from it the best way possible! You know, the way most fans have been begging studios to do for decades but somehow can’t hear them!?! I fear to find out what Disney is going to do with it now that they own it!?! It was disappointing how bad “The Defenders” was! Oh well!!! But in Disney and many other studios defense (which I rarely like to do) it gets harder and harder to make a “good” movie on a character or characters that already exist and keep it as on point as possible, and jump through all the legal loopholes and follow the list of dos and don’ts that Hollywood has been demanding studios to follow for years now while they keep adding new things every week while the “woke agenda” keeps growing and how people are getting offended more and more easily and often! And doing all of that and keep in budget and also making sure they don’t lose their budget! I can only imagine how much that sucks nowadays!?! And it’s only getting worse! Some days movies that are classified as horror, comedy and action will no longer exist and everything will just be a love romcom!!! Ugh!

They are only making shows canon that make them money. If daredevil is canon then all the characters exist which ties punisher, iron fist, luke cage and Jessica jones. But they are clearly looking for money
