Lol well they also have heros, cyber dragons, and .... I guess red eyes they can pump out. Plus we get ra support next month too. Hehehehe. But don't know why people are upset at dark magician. Its not like there ruining the metta like certain rock and zombie deck are doing or even a single copy of mystic mine.
@@astogram4321 we do get other support and new cards they just also thrown in dark magician cards with some things. It was only the last legendary duelist that dark magicians finally got great support blue eyes or anything kiaba has been more reprinted then yugi.
@@craterdestroyer3604 and what timelords, malifics, cubics, and even vampires weren't a waste of space none of those decks really work or where worth playing but they took up card slots that other good archetypes could of got. Least dark magicians are good now now unlike most of the other garbage we got. And besides dm was only given support in nostalgia products, movie packs and now one mega tin. So dont see why anyone is sick of it when kiaba was the one getting support for way longer and way more often then yugi. You'd of thought kiaba was a real person running koonami with how often he got product with his face on it then yugi.

Ban Anaconda and see Dragoon played only in DM and Red Eyes? I'm fine with that. Especially since Predaplant has yet to be more than a niche engine and Super Poly targets.
@@patrikmiles9342 You realize this post is 4 months old right? Opinions change over time. Dragoon is still a problem, but yes we see it isn't breaking the meta right now. I'm still standing by what I said to an extent. Either ban Anaconda or errata it so it has to be played with its own archetype like it should have been this whole time.

i felt like you handled this video perfectly. i can tell that you allocate a certain amount of time on each video even when decks havent changed, or not changed much you know what to do so you put more effort into the jokes. i really appreciate all the hard work you put into all your videos

gleamynight XX It is untargetable, indestructible, 2 non targeting pops on your turn with a burn effect and 1 negate. You don’t need anaconda to play it because you can just turbo it with insight and 3 fusion in a red eyes deck.
@@raikyu3544 Dragoon doesn't make red-eyes or dm decks competitive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but dm and red-eyes didn't exactly jump to tier 1 after the card was released in the OCG. I doubt it's gonna be any different over here. Combo decks summoning dragoon at the end of their combo with zero effort, however, is a problem. The fact that you can still flip summon after activating red-eyes fusion also gives an unfair buff to guru specifically. Dragoon/red-eyes fusion will prob end up getting limited to make dragoon turbo less viable. However, the biggest issue with the card remains that a generic link 2 monster can summon it. I hope they'll eventually ban the snek.
@@gleamynightxx5387 who knows if anaconda gets banned red eyes might become rogue because they have access to dragun easily (it's still a towers with negation and destruction) I don't necessarily think it makes them good, but who knows I guess
Unpopular opinion: im not sick of DM at all, in fact im excited to see how much this big normal monster dingus can improve over time with new support, having legacy decks improve over time is one of my favourite things about this game.

Dogmatika player threw so hard when he summoned his golden lord in ATK and allowed the blue boi to get destroyed. Not the most obvious throw but a very hard one...
In hindsight I probably could've played better but the shock of opening double CBTG and topdecking Dolphin just made me want to cry. KRETIN FIX SHUFFLER
Honestly, I'd use Magicalized Fusion and some more hand traps instead of that lame ass Keeper package. You're playing 7 normal summons right now, that's a horrible idea. Or maybe a copy or two of Jester Confit to help get to Anaconda. Or maybe Instant Fusion to do the same thing and help cover your weakness to hand traps.
If Souls weren't at 50€ over here, I'd be playing this deck. Dragun is actually a nice addition FOR DM, finally giving this deck a viable win condition. I hope Anaconda gets banned.
Agreed. If Anaconda gets banned, people will stop abusing our card. Look at all the decks that insulted DM and called it a trash deck, and they are rewarded by playing our best card for free. Konami needs to fix their game.

You miss one con: Heavy damage to man's wallet. Well i mean DM JUMP, RE JUMP, m. Souls, dragoon, RE fusion super, brown dmg (still have value) and other highest rarity cards :)
verte is probably going to meet Master Plan, hopefully sooner rather than later so that this guy is only usable in the two decks it's supposed to be in
Why didn't the Eldlich player use Lord effect to pitch White Destiny to pop a card then use lord effect from grave to summon itself. That way he could have used white destiny in the Endphase to set a card....
The real complaint about playing DM: The price tag. I priced this out for shits and giggles...my wallet seared my flesh even considering it. If one has none of it already, it's about $775 without shipping. T.T
DM is not bad it got a really good meta support with souls and dragoon if the ban list at any time this year or in 2021 banned needlefiber and block dragon and only if they banned anaconda drgoon wil become a true dark magician card because you can summon it with eye of t or just any poly with your dm and any dragon monster
Well, it's nice keeper has gotten a bit more useful with dragun, but I promise you it only drags the deck waaaaay down. Need to approach other builds, super poly is very useful in DM and just good in general. Soul is not worth running 3 of, the backfire effect is dookie. Try things like trap trick, back to the front, the dark magic veil is always an option and only gets better as more monsters get released. I'm an unknown deck-building guru who has broken things like buster blader, dm, ancient gear, etc. I just make things work.
I don't think that Eternal Soul's backfire effect really matters anymore if the deck is just going to warp around Dragoon. Since neither player can destroy Dragoon with card effects, Eternal Soul can't kill Dragoon.
@@shadowspector3611 I mean it was obviously a joke but banning dm or red eyes for that matter would make using Verte to get it for basically free impossible. Again, JOKE. Because it would be hilarious if they'd basically ban a whole archetype to balance 1 card
