DARK MAGICIAN is main ace monster of Yugi Mutou, main protagonis of first Yu-Gi-Oh!. Dark Magician is just Normal Monster that have not effect. But as time goes on, this monster card finally has its own archetype, and we can called it Dark Magician archetype. Many support cards in Dark Magician archetype that make Dark Magician become very powerful even thought it just Normal Monster. As an example there is a powerful Trap Card, that is ETERNAL SOUL. It is the card that can make Dark Magician become uneffected by other card effect and this card can Special Summon Dark Magician from hand or Graveyard once per turn. The other powerful card support is DARK MAGICAL CIRCLE that is the banisher when Dark Magician was summoned on the Field. Combination between Eternal Soul and Dark Magical Circle is able you to make banish 1 card your Opponent control once per turn. Boss monster in Dark Magician deck is DARK MAGICIAN THE DRAGON KNIGHT. This boss monster is Fusion Monster that can make your Spell and Trap card can’t be destroyed and targeted. Combination between Dark Magician The Dragon Knight and Eternal Soul is able to make your board almost untouchable.
New Structure Deck for Dark Magician is released, that is VORTEX OF MAGIC Structure Deck. This Structure Deck contains all cards that related to Dark Magician. This Structure Deck cost just only 500 Gems. So, with 1,500 Gems you can get 3x copy of Dark Magician archetype cards. In VORTEX OF MAGIC, there are 2 very powerful cards support for Dark Magician archetype, there are ILLUSION OF CHAOS and MASTER OF CHAOS.
ILLUSION OF CHAOS is Ritual Monster card that have 2 effects. If this card in hand, you can activate its effect to search monster card from deck that mention "Dark Magician" in its card text. If this card in Field, it has negater monster effect. For Dark Magician x Branded deck, you'll more often to use Illusion Of Chaos first effect to search monster card like MAGICIANS ROD or MAGICIAN SOUL from deck to your hand.
MASTER OF CHAOS is Fusion Monster card that have 3 effects. 1st effect of Master Of Chaos is it can Special Summon 1 LIGHT or DARK monster from Graveyard to your Field. Then 2nd effect of Master Of Chaos is it can BANISH ALL Monsters on your opponent Field by tributing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monsters on your Field. The last, 3rd effect of Master Of Chaos is it can add Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand after Master Of Chaos is destroyed.
The Branded archetype is an archetype of Spell and Trap Cards that focused on fast and easy Fusion Summoning. The key cards of Branded is BRANDED FUSION, FALLEN OF ALBAZ, and its Fusion Monsters Albaz related. With Branded Fusion, you can Fusion Summon Fusion Monsters Albaz related so easily because you can use Fusion Material from your deck. This very powerful effect of Branded Fusion can be used in Dark Magician deck to Fusion Summon DARK MAGICIAN THE DRAGON KNIGHT so easily.
