Good review as always. In regards to the "Good Jason" v "Evil Jason". There are two things to really take into account, regardless of "Good Jason's" intentions, he is a human in an almost impossible situation. More importantly the convo between Amanda and Jason at the restaurant. At their core the different versions of everyone are the same person but it is their experiences (and choices) that alter their personaliies. So, it stands to reason that regardless if of them being "good" or "evil" versions of the same people they eill still be prone so some of the same behaviours (both positive and negative). "Good Jason" even says after following the Jason of the most recent world they found themselves in he understands why "Evil Jason" did what he did. Aside from he stealing good Jason's life he straight up left Amanda who he mostly like claimed to love.

Soooo….did anyone catch Leighton with the shiny jacket Milly rocking at the 19:35 mark when Jason and Amanda were dancing in the bar? Is this the version that just gave 50 mill to bad Jason for the ampoules? He has the blonde tips in his hair

There was a transition sound between two scenes with Jason & Amanda. Pay attention to their clothes, specifically their jackets & that white & black sweater Jason 1 typically wears. I’m pretty sure there are 2 sets of Jason & Amanda!

Amanda’s not doing it on purpose…I hope this foreshadow will pay off in later episodes.

They have less than a snowballs chance in hell of finding Jason's world. As the song says: "If you can't be with the one you love, honey love the one you're with". That shouldn't be a difficult decision when the one you're with is Amanda.

Amanda is either the worst therapist, or the greatest gaslighter ever. 1. Not realizing her feelings of abandonment from Jason 2, and her world would have an effect on their destination. or 2. She's slowly wearing Jason 1 down to get him to accept an alternative to "his" world. "You need to go deeper", what is that? It's all on him now?. I'm surprised Jason hasn't questioned her thoughts and motives also. Getting chummy in bed is a sure sign of complicating the thought stream to get home. 🤦🏾‍♂

Dude, I think Jae is being as realistic as you or I would be. Meaning his main objective is to get back with his actual wife Danielle. But if not, he is trying to get a version of his wife Danielle. Remember he asked the blonde Danielle out. Proving so, he is not being unrealistic and totally loyal to his wife he wants to be with her or a version of her. Amanda is more complicated because she was with Bad Jae.

I think he and Amanda will hook up and become close before the season is over. And they’ve been through A LOT. I don’t consider it cheating. He’s just developing the feelings his other self had for her.

The black guy Lamborghini or wtv was in the background around 17:00. The allergy came in to factor. Amanda may be sabotaging on purpose bc she's taking a liking to OG Jason.

I like the Amanda psyche evaluation scenes from both Amanda's in this episode. It builds on from what Blair2 covered about the potential to crack with box travelling, being worldless and the importance of finding somewhere to fit in and start over. J2 is experiencing imposter syndrome and we are seeing how his facade is starting to show cracks as his actions are becoming more erratic. "I have been married for 15 years" "You don't talk like someone who has". Amanda was right on the money when she identified J2's fear of commitment as that was partially behind his reasoning to turn his back on D2 and their potential family. J revealed to A2 he had similar reservations on Daniella's pregnancy but he decided to stay with her and their soon to be family. The core nature chat between J and A2 reveals a selfish side to J2 in wanting to have his cake and eat it. He now has inherited a significant amount of money from Leighton to get back to the affluent lifestyle he left behind coming to J's world. Choosing not to develop his relationship with A2, he could have easily used the box to find a world with a Daniella who was not in a relationship with another Jason or anyone else and started out fresh but he chose to selfishly steal J's life not willing to miss out on what he has already missed out on. The only issue is this a 15 year+ established relationship and J2 has only been a part of it a for weeks/maybe months. We are seeing how J2's cracks are causing harm to J's family and social circles. Also note he could have visited any psychiatrist in Chicago but chose to specifically visit Amanda. His body language in the waiting room was telling of his anxiety in meeting the double of his former partner again. We have also seen the knock on effect J being forcefully inserted into J2's world has had on D2,R2, A2 and L2. Leighton and Ryan were two of J2's very erratic decisions as they will be missed. Leighton whose father runs Velocity Labs might decide to check in on his son to find he is nowhere to be found. Ryan's research partners and investors will definitely come looking seeing a Pavia prize winner on the verge of industry changing research has suddenly disappeared. Ryan and J2 were last seen together in the Village Tap and Ryan's closest colleagues know how close Ryan and Jason are from their celebration get together. We might get a double of the detective from J2's world come knocking. J will need to look into his core nature as his growing relationship with A2 might be adversely impacting their search for his home world. Notice that he never rebuffs her embraces and he is comfortable sharing difficult topics with her. Sharing a bed is quite telling and they did enjoy each other's company in the hotel scenes. This predicament is pushing them closer together. Hopefully A2's new hunch pays off in the upcoming episodes but they will also need a workaround to the sealed box.

Just had to say it: *Who the hell dances to "Raspberry Beret?"* Even better, what "dj" plays it in a club? In Chicago? Post 1990?? The fourth wall was shattered.

I think there setting up for them to go their separate ways. Jason is getting everything he asks for but not quite right. I feel like its because amanda subconsciously wants to be with that Jason so no matter what he does, she will always influence the world they go into. Also side note, what does she actually want from all this?

So when I watched the whole episode with audio description on they refered to the 2nd Jason in the gun store as Jason 6. Jason 1 is the og Jason. Jason 2 obviously is the one who took over Jason 1's world. Jason 3 is the one with where Amanda got shot. Jason 4 is the one in pandemic world where he died. Jason 5 is the one where Jason 1 was standing next to bed with what they call Daniela 7 (the one where Max is alive) and Jason 6 is the one from the gun store.

I have a question why did the blonde danelle did not recognize jason? She was talking to him like she was seeing him for the first time..

Where’s the Chase and how do we cut to it

Jason 1 is going to sleep with Amanda 2 and then take the remaining ampoules and leave her behind. Brutal.

Brother do you or anyone think that you loving your spouse to an unimaginable degree, that if you were in his shoes scared, feeling alone, worried, missing your wife and son, unsure, wavering in strength and will that a woman a version of you was with which you’d be attracted to would not tempt you. Having spent seriously intimate ordeals with cared for and saved that you will not under any circumstance, would ever think or have crossed your mind that damn I miss my wife and son but this female energy is right here while trying to fight that urge of temptation. You cannot control your natural testosterone fueled response, you just can’t bro and if you think that him falling slightly short on the husband scale when faced with unfathomable odds you got to be crazy lol. Like the vid but I had to say this cause looking at him through a normal lens with extraordinary circumstance is wild and unfair.

Why does evil Jason seal himself in that world if everything is falling apart for him there? Isn’t he stuck there now?

What if it's as simple as just letting the drug wear off to be back at the beginning? How did Prof J end up in Evil J's world? He was knocked out, no thoughts, no subconscious, nothing to interfere with the process, so how did he end up in a world he didn't know existed?

"Radical Empathy", not radiance

What about when Jason 2 in Jason 1's world, when he talks to therapist Amanda about the infinity corridor with all the doors, she says another word for it is fear of commitment.

Here’s my issue with the show, the characters basically have the keys to the universe handed to them and the story is so generic and static. Where’s the grand scale of things? Where’s the reason why I want to continue to watch? Your story is the multiverse, but meanwhile it looks like we’re headed to divorce court. Or, perhaps infidelity. Or, kidnapping. But what about things less mundane? A lot less mundane. Things we as viewers couldn’t imagine? Why does the show give us dancing in a club in another universe to Prince? Or Jennifer Connelly as a blonde. Why are these the nuggets, it just seems so unimaginative when your main characters are literally world hopping.

Bruh, his wife is his wife. We know he loves her, but he’s still a man. I hope he gets what he wants out of Amanda AND gets back to his wife. Maybe end up with both
