my theory is you only get a copy if you enter the box before taking the drugs. So if you take the drugs before you go into the box no copy. Jason 2 had no copy the entire time and he follows this rule. Rewatch every scene when he had to go into the box and he does this. even kidnapping Jason 1 and Ryan. Jason 1 on the other hand didn't follow this rule. He always enters the box then takes the drugs. Even Amanda has copies but not Jason 1 or anyone he took into the box. All the new Jason had an Amanda with them.

This was hands-down the best breakdown I've seen of this episode. You got me thinking about concepts that had never occurred to me (or any of the other YT channels)! It hadn't occurred to me that there must be many variants of J2 out there as well, and some of them might have even been in this episode. The idea that J2 is the OG Jason is interesting, but I don't think he is. I agree with the narrator of the video that J1 and J2 weren't created by the box - they were created by the choice of whether to stay with Daniela and have the babies or not. I've been thinking that all of the variants of J1 really do belong here in the prime universe, but if they were created outside of this world when J1 was in J2's universe, then they actually DON'T belong here even though they believe they do. 🤯🤯🤯 The problem with the idea that they just need to travel to a world where Jason never existed is this - it would also have to be a world where Daniela and Charlie don't exist. None of them can travel to a world where they never existed. So I do think they'll probably try to escape to a different world - but it would have to be one where that world's Jason, Daniela, and Charlie/Max are all dead. I think we'll definitely see some J2s and we might have already seen some. Also, even if J2 dies, there are going to be major problems in this world with all the Jasons getting killed or likely arrested, screwing things up for Jason Prime. Even if they seal off the box, they have no way of knowing how many Jasons are out there, so they won't be safe with God knows how many Jasons still running around.

they won't be able to chase jason, daniela and charlie though. because it is their 3 combined brains that will take them to a unique place that the other Jasons couldn't go to.

The original Jason has a scar on the bridge of his nose. He acquired this during a scuffle with Jason 2 in ep 1 and it never healed right until ep 8.

Well - it’s gonna be a more than 3 Jason problem. This show started out a bit slow but it’s been getting really good as of late.

From my perspective, I believe the last universe he entered is not his original one; it only resembles the one he has in his mind.

Here is my thought...the Jason who actually created the box would actually be the original Jason. Think about it...if the box creates these worlds based on the thought process of the occupant. Then the person using the box is creating these branched worlds so the Jason who invented the box would be the original. We the audience just came into the story from the point of view of the Jason or the world that the original Jason thought of in the box. So by the time we meet original Jason he is in the process of kidnapping his branched Jason. A Jason he wished he was with the wife and kids he wished he had. If that makes sense to anyone feel free to like 😂

Jason One, Daniella and Charlie will use the ampoules and head to Amanda's utopia world and then seal or destroy the box there.

So, will there be a bunch of Danielas in whatever reality they go if they follow Daniela this time around?

This reminds me of when you look at your reflection in a mirror and you see the infinite reflections.

I can think of 2 reasons why Jason 2 shocked after acquiring the 2nd knife. 1. Maybe because his world didn't have otf auto knives. Or 2. He was shocked how the 2nd jason he kills has different knife than the 1st.

I think something important people are missing. The Jason at the police station did not have the band on, whereas the Jason in the car accident did. Perhaps another plot twist by the producers it i personally do not believe that Jupiter is the OG Jason

Do the rules of superposition apply in this case? As in, there was originally one state of the world. Then when Jason originally entered the box from that world, it created the multiverse because the alternative realities had only just been seen for the first time. In that sense, Jason 2 is in fact the original Jason.

The only solution is for OG Jason and OG Danielle and OG son move to a universe where theur version doesn't exist and destroy the box in that world. Happy ending.

Jason 2 being the original Jason is an AMAZING theory. I never thought of that. It makes perfect sense. If Jason 2 doesn't create the box, we don't get the Jason that's with Daniella. Just because we (the audience) followed Jason 1 doesn't mean he's the original. The creator of the box is the original because there aren't other Jason's without the box. AWESOME!

I really don't like the infinite Jasons plot line. Would have been much more satisfying with just a 1 on 1 with good Jason vs bad Jason IMO

If they don't explain how copies of Jason 1 manifested in the box, I'm going to be really upset. And I REALLY hope they don't do anything like Oblivion, Avengers, I Robot, The Matrix, and so many other movies did; where if you destroy the original, then all the other versions automatically are destroyed.

I don't think this will explore alternate Jason 2s, you guys are overthinking it. These are all Jason 1s who know this is their home universe.

Right, so loved your explanation hoevermore than each Jason 1 creating another and another and so on, from the moment he entered the box on his own (first time with J2 doesn't count cause he was unconcious), an infinite number of J1 were created, one for each possible world behind the first door opened. We have no way to know which J1 we have been following at any given time but for all intents and purposese they are all J1. We need to consider that a huge number of them perished along the way too. there are also an infinte number of J2 around cause he didn't discovered J1's worls right away and he also created a infinite amount of himselves the moment he stepped into the box. Mind boggling.. I love this show

Well if Daniela and Jason 1 reenter the box. Other versions of Daniela x and Jason x would also enter the box. In the end there would be a world where multiple Daniela x and Jason x end up.

I think the differences in the Jason 1’s and how the our real Jason 1 ultimately outsmarts the new copies is going to come down to how they were separated from Amanda. It seems our real Jason lost Amanda in a beautiful loving way, whereas the others (as of now at least) seems to have separated from Amanda in more violent or sad ways.

I haven't read the book (yet) but I can't help wondering if Chekov's Giant Wasp comes back in the story? Is bringing those giant wasps into this universe something Jason 2 would do? Ooh, Daneilla getting into the box and choosing a world where Jason never existed! Really good idea 🙂🙂

If Jason 1, Daniella, & Charlie enter the box together and then choose a door…whatever reality they enter will likely be next to impossible for other Jason’s to find (intentionally) because the reality concretized by the opening of the door is necessarily dependent on the combined consciousnesses & subconsciousnesses of everyone present. It’s why Jason one took so long to make it back…Amanda being there was making it I possible

I honestly don't see any motivation for other J2's to actively look for J1's world in the infinite choices. Most of them probably don't even know about it and are probably already stealing another Jason's life in another reality themselves, thus dealing with their own Jason-palooza. If they did stumble upon this world, they will probably notice the really high Jason-icity levels and leave for one of the other infinite choices. I want them to go to a world where Max is alive. That's got to play a part. If you think about it, the box is a copy machine, Kinko's + Pandora's Box. So, they could go back to where he was and make some copies. In fact, they could make copies of Daniela and Charlie. If they do go to the box, it is a byproduct of using it, many copies of whoever uses Lavender Fairy and opens any door. It exponentially duplicates users.

Given a lack of specifics about the Jason 1 world, the probability that multiple Jason 2’s would each find the same world is negligible. If multiple Jason 2s were to successfully abduct and replace their counterparts, it would happen in separate worlds that could differ by as much as a blade of grass. Also, I do not believe that there could be more than one box in any universe as the box by definition would be in superposition. That doesn’t preclude multiple Jason’s from inventing the same box, but it means that they would all occupy the same superposition.

Great idea she is the key to pick new world so no other jasons cam follow

The Jason in the bar is the bad one or a copy of the bad one No scratch on his nose(right side). Most of the scene is showing his left side for a reason for us not to pick on this detail but, there is a few seconds where clearly you can notice that he doesn't have a scratch on his noose. I think he used the clothes (definitely the hat) of the other Jason who got killed at the beginning of the episode. That is just my observation.

It makes you think, where did the other Jasons get the notion to return to Jason 1 world, that would mean in their worlds, a Jason 2 took over their family/world and thrown into box and they were finding their way back. That means theres infinite Jason 2's out there that made same decision of taking over a Jason family. But somehow they all ended up in same singularity, as they all think the same way playing out the possibility that they thought same thoughts & feelings before opening the concrete encased box. I don't think they were created from his decisions, because every decision creates a universe where you chose path A vs Path B, etc.. They cant escape to the perfect utopian world, where Amanda is, because there is a Jason & Daniella there.

Oh well, my theory about episode 7 seems improbable now. And I am happy for it. 😅 This is so much wilder than I thought. So I am giving myself up to the show and will let it take me wherever it does.

It could be that Jason 2 didn’t decide he wanted to stay in this reality until he got there. So it’s not like the other Jason 2s are aiming for this reality. But I guess the other times he used the box he created more Jason 2s. But also every decision he’s made in Jason 1s world has created multiple realities. So there should be a bunch of realities with Jason 2s with Charlie and Daniella

I think we will have a scene where we will see 1000s of Jasons fighting on open field, and Jason 1 & family try to escape.

I think they will head to a world where the other child didn’t die.

I think the abduction of Jason and his attempts to get back home could have created an unforeseen complication resulting in the emergence of these Jason doubles. If Jason2 were aware of this outcome it might have been smarter to eliminate Jason and then assume his identity if this were a foreseen complication. These doubles all follow their own routes to get back to world1. Some made it, some fail but they all splinter doubles who are trying to get back to the same reality. They are all primes in their own right as all have the same memories and are targeting the same Jason2 and family. Seeing they originate from Jason's thoughts it seems fair to assume they also originate from the same reality as the original mind. This was a trippy episode but I enjoyed it. Cannot wait for next week.

Didn’t think about it like that, if Jason2 created the box, he’s thematically the original Jason. Like the others existed, but we can only get to them because J2 created the box

I think in the last episode 100s of Jasons are going to show up and they are going to flee back to the perfect Chicago.

The theory on how episode 8 will go seems plausible. I can't really see all versions of Jason just disappear or decide to leave. Probably Jason 1 and the family will just ignore the problem and just avoid them. I think the show had to hold back on how many Jasons we see, this includes Jason 2s. Due to how each Jason can compound to more Jasons, having 2 sets of Jasons running around is too chaotic and confusing.

What is sad is that the Daniela from Jason2 world believe our Jason faster that his own Daniela 😔

Why do the other Jason 1s all simultaneously assume this is the right world ? There’s no way they all observed Daniella long enough to all know that’s the right one.

More people need to be talking about this show. I dont know if theres more than one book, but if theyre hoping to do a 2nd season and end with a bit of a cliffhanger ill be so bummed if it doesnt get a 2nd season. That one thing i really hate about the streaming era.

Escape? Its only 1 way to escape, 1 box, all what all Jasons need to do is wait outside the box for Jason and Daniella. they don´t need to search at all, just wait there

If you think that all of the other worlds always existed, then that would mean that the other jasons aren't creating new worlds now. Can't have it both ways. They either all always exited, or none of them did except for 1, and each one after that was created by a choice a Jason made.

I think they will live in Amanda’s world and Jason will bring a Jason for her. Amazing season !! Jupiter Jason !! So many twists and turns. Apple TV is the best

All the Jason’s that make it back to Daniella in world one ARE Jason 1. Just made slightly different decisions once in the box. Most of them would have died. Somewhere in some world or not made it some other way. Many stayed with Amanda. None of these Jason’s are more righteous than any other they all lived the same life up until the box. We just happened to have followed the narrative of this one Jason.

Reminded me of the Simpsons Treehouse of horror where Homer was duplicated by a magic hammock. All they need to solve the problem are giant donuts carried by military planes and a convenient ravine for the pile of bodies.

What I think can happen is that they would move to a world where no other Jason could travel and manifesting it (as you need to in the box) will be enough to block the onslaught of other Jasons. Still it's pretty sad. I don't entirely understand why the other Jasons (split from Jason 1) can not go to their own worlds but everyone came back to this one marked by this event on Jason1 being abducted. Isn't it that if done correctly the manifestation should take you to your unique world and your unique Daniela and Charlie? Even if two worlds were a second apart. Because every Jason 1 double that manifests inside of the box is manifesting their past and their version of the world where they have been abducted? I'm truly lost. I'm glad that I'm not lost in another version of my world (or am I?) lol.

Just thinking… all these Jason 1’s may actually still be from prime Jason’s home world, and not necessarily belonging outside of this home world. Back in an earlier episode, we saw Jason and Amanda somehow show up in an alternate version of Jason2’s home world, but they showed up at a different time meaning they were in the same world, but a few minutes earlier. Jason and Amanda went to a few bad worlds, then showed back up at the the office where the box was build and watched a past version of Jason 1 and Amanda as they made their escape attempt to the box but were gunned down before they could make it. While that was technically an “alternate” world, it’s not necessarily a “different” world. I think it’s the same Jason 2 world that Jason 1 and Amanda escaped from, but in a different time….. I wonder if Jason 1, Daniella, and Charlie will end up escaping and showing up in an alternate version of “their” home world? 🌎?

Did they ever explain whether the worlds are newly generated at the moment or as a result of the door opening? Or are they all worlds that already existed?

One thing we learned, that differentiates from each universe, is that the one thing that connects us to our current world is LOVE, love becomes Quantifiable! Its the only thing that connects us over vast distances and time, when person dies, we still love them. It was his LOVE and feeling for hsi family that was able to break through all the millions of universes and lead him back to the right one. They describe that the box will create what you feel & describe, he always FAILED getting to the right world when he wrote down the description, BUT he succeeeded when he channeled the right feelings for Daniella, he remembered the day he fell in LOVE with her in college, which sparked the universal connection and he went through the right door, LOVE is the KEY component that is unexplainable, yet its that powerful that it pinpointed the correct world in a vast INFINITE pile of universes. LOVE is important part of the QUANTUM MECHANICS!

By the same logic, every time Jason2 took a ride in the box, he naturally branched out into otherJasons, all eventually returning to the original universe. Where are they?

The camera fallows the 'good' Jason1, but ofc every of the Jason's rationalizes their choices even those morally bad, some are more objectively 'bad' then the others. But in the end they are like any human - try to be happy and does what it takes to achieve that. I feel terribly sorry for all the versions that are created by Jason's 1 decisions. It's something else to not relate to yourself from 15 years (from when Jason 2 came) and something else to not relate to yourself from a month or two days ago. They are all him. We can not be sure whether the Jason using Jupiter is indeed the Jason 1 (unless we trust audio description).

I agree. Daniella needs to think of the world that doesn't have a Jason. This would not be the perfect ending though as an ideal world would be one with Charlie's Twin. Obviously a Jason would have to exist there

Jason 2 belong to his world with no kid. He didn't even know his son had allergies. Jason 1 is the sole original in this world. Bar Jason said he lost his wife, right? They gotta destroy the box to get rid of all other Jason's. But I need to know what happened to his friend and the lady who is stuck in the GIANT hornet world. AND the blk DUDE who is coming after him vs his dble who gave up his life to go into the box. Are they gonna clash.. ? Toooooo many questions unanswered.. my brain 🧠 😫

There aren't going to be that many Jasons. A lot of them got killed off and probably most of them ran out of vials.

So all the realities existed before the box was created. All the box did was allow a connection to those worlds. The problem is, at the point of the very ever first split (i.e. the first event in the life of Jason maybe aged under 1, when things could of gone a totally different way) does that make a Jason 2? or is it just creating a split so we have 2 Jason time lines? Neither of which are now an 'original'. it just two worlds, where the event went one way in one, and a different way in the other? We have only ever followed the one timeline world, but that's just one path of a decision making path. My big question is why all these Jason's heading for this particular time line? Surely there are better timelines in this infinite number of Jason's? There must be one where he bought a lottery ticket and won $145m? for example? or one where their other son Max survived and the couple are happily married with 2 sons? or daughters!!

I’m confused how can there be Multiple Jason 1’s with exactly the same background. Isn’t that the whole point of the multiverse every version had a slightly different background story so why would they all think this is their world.
