Out of curiosity, will you be covering Justice League: No Justice before tackling Scott Snyder's Justice League? That story sets up some important plot threads for the main run, so I recommend covering it first.
@@infinitycomics9049 As long as you cover it. No Justice is basically the prelude for Snyder's Justice League, with plot threads such as Brainiac's death, Luthor's return to villainy, and Jarro being set up in that particular story.
Oh I loved it! It made me appreciate Hawkman for the very first time in my life. I saw your video about him and I understood his origins are confusing, and I guess that has an impact on the character as a whole. But this take on him as a sort of eternal historian/ anthropologist /detective is fantastic. When he finally meets with Hawkgirl... was such an emotional ride. Couse I get that this reunion might have been predictable but it works. In this case and throughout the story the stakes are high, the villains are really frightening and the bond between the heroes is very well krafted. My favourite moment was when Wonder Woman gets to grab de Hawkman's maze and she gets shot on the head by the Batman who laughs. I gasped!

Sonic Badass 2000 agree, plus seeing Cyborg and Raven reuniting was really heartwarming, you can really tell that there are some people over at DC that miss Cyborg having his history and friendship with the titans and that his role as being a founding member of the justice league was really forced

I'll be doing a flash forward video in the future. I'll have to think on the Batman one (UTRH, Black Mirror, Killing Joke, and Heart of Hush are some of my favorites). Wally story is obviously Return of Barry Allen. My favorite underrated villain is definitely Circe or New 52 Apollo. WW villains never get enough love.
On Dan Didio, I don't know why he got fired so it's hard to say. I disagreed with a lot of the man's decisions, but he had a genuine love for comics and was always a great guy in everything I saw him in. Looking in as an outsider, he seemed good at his job, but committed to several controversial decisions.
I’m no where near “well versed” on the history of DC and all the events, so when I picked this story up I was pretty confused lol thank god for channels like comics explained to help understand lol once I had enough back story I went ahead and read this and I loved every second of it. In a way, I’m grateful that this comic had so much deep history and requires readers to understand the long history of DC because there are so many awesome well told stories out there that DC tried to move on from and forget with the New 52. Knowing what I learned out of necessity to under stand Dark Nights: Metal makes me love DC’s rich history so much more.
I'm not an expert but I've read Snyders batman and I don't think the idea was that everything from the character's past happened within 5 years. I think it meant he had only been at it for 5 years
Didn’t this run reveal that all metas have nth metal in their system of some sort during the Joker/ Green lantern/ Duke dialog? Which no one talks about.
So I finally got around to reading Metal (well, half of it. I still need two of the trades for it), and it was a pretty good event (my first DC event, no less).
based on the few new 52 comics i have read(darksied war, trinity war, green lantern corps vol 1, justice league: the grid, lobo, and convergence) my major issue is that they have good to great ideas but the execution was not fully followed through except the new 52 lobo that one was just lobo with no sense of humor...so basically every bland overly violate anti-hero.
My whole problem is I can't tell half the order of certain comic books I bought the Batman who laughs thinking it was the beginning of the series boy was I wrong.

I’m surprised you liked this book. Especially since you didn’t like Futures end and convergence. All three have something in common they don’t make any sense and are pointless.
The Batman who laughs is like Harley Quinn, he was made for one or two stories, and a decent Miniseries but after that they either should've made him a side character or killed him off because he and Harley Quinn get old very, very quickly
