How to get the ring in one setting after joining the mound makers:
classically, if you decide to join the mound makers, you cannot get this ring without running back to the top of the cliff.
But with my method, you join the mound makers, go about your business once you freed the priestess from her cell and just shoot one arrow to recover the ring from below, therefore avoiding to have to run once more up there.
