100% ruleset: speedsouls.com/darksouls:100%25 Pretty decent run for now, not too many mistakes. Looking into rerouting it now with all the things that have been found.
Dall if I remember correctly diminishing returns set in soon, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be worth it to get humanity so high Edit: looked at all of the values and humanity only increases curse resistance, and diminishing returns set in at 10 soft humanity and stops increasing at 30 soft humanity
I noticed your running attack with the great club isn't the same as it normally is and that you can two hand a left hand weapon.... Odd..what mods are you using to be able to do that as I can't 2 hand the great club lol
Yea I've since looked into it more. I've got to NG+7 on DS1 and im fairly decent at the game, but moveswapping is just not possible for me. Especially considering input lag on my controller. RB or right D-pad button either sticks or doesn't do the action soon enough. Controller is regularly cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and generally looked after. Might have a look at contacts on the switches if it becomes an issue in other games (which it isn't oddly enough). Even with a Macro, it doesn't do it really. It gets close to it, but just fails it. Item duping is something i've been able to do for years though, same with the area skips. Moveswapping is just...a pain.
there is a menu delay, you can't do it too fast, else it will fail. look up the entry on the speedsouls wiki, there is a good tutorial linked iirc it's easiest to pull off while fatrolling
yeah moveswapping takes a lot of practice. I've practiced moveswapping for probably around 50 hours and i still can't get it consistently. Also, just for future reference mods aren't allowed for speedrunning in dark souls unless you're doing a speedrun of the mod, like boss rush in ds3.
The Stone Dragon bonfire has a Firekeeper and is already kindled once. If I had missed something during the run, the percentage tracker in the bottom left would not have shown 100% at the end.
