Darklurker is the only boss in DS2 I couldn't beat, and I genuinely stopped playing before I could finish that battle. AND LENNY BEATS HIM WITH A BROKEN SWORD AND A SMILE. I'm honestly proud of it, man. Good job.

Same u can tell the boss wasn’t made with melee players in mind and ngl I felt like ds 2 was a chore I was more playing it so I could beat it more then the experience plus screw who ever put the pit in the old iron kings arena that was evil 😂

darklurker is actually pretty easy if you stay in melee range (his close range moveset is not good, all he can do is two sword swings) with a dark-infused rebel's greatshield(rebels greatshield blocks 100% of whichever of the 4 magic elements its infused with, so a dark rebel's greatshield nullifies dark damage) i barely managed to beat him on a no estus/lifegem run by getting a hit in between every one of his attacks(two swings of a pure dark damage energy sword, so no damage aside from stamina damage), slap him with the butcher's knife, and then just go ham when he's near or doing mitosis. alternatively, re-spec to be able to use profound still, and say no to his long range attacks lol.

I actually thought darklurker is not made with range in mind, all their range attack are incredible quick and unpredictable, getting away from them just made you dodge and doge with no break. While in the melee range all their attack are quite predictable, basicailly another persuer situation.

@@windflier1684I do think that between Mages and melee, melee start with a bigger Handicap..at least in the second phase When there is two of them and most of the time you have to pay attention to where the other one is usually meaning you get one two moves before needing to dodge Mages may get away with it because no matter which clone they attack they can land their hits consistently with no running (Something I noticed in my bow run too)

Hey lenny I'd just wanna let you know that there is an amazing mod out there for Ds 2 called Seeker of Fire 2.0 and apperantly there is a dedicated Broken sword just for you in game. So imagine how King Shit wouldve been if u were to bear Ds 2 with a Broken Sword with your own Broken Sword in game.
