Watching and seeing Chase wasnt an absolute god back then makes me feel good. He was still really good but knowing it took a lot of practice to get as good as he is in ds makes me have hope i can get gud.
Well it's not so much he isn't as good, but his opponents are a lot closer to his skill level. They were roll-catching, attacking at strategic times, and pressuring him.
@@RyanSavage_Banjo yeah it was the torch sconce bugging out i have 500 hours sunk in that game and that bug is pretty uncommon only seen it like 3 or 4 times myself
You got that right that is probably the most annoying covenant upgrade one can get, that or the wolf ring for the watchdogs covenant, both equally useless
This was my favorite part of the evening, its sick how you can COPE with all the attackers and how fast you think of sollutions and movement is just mind blowing. Keep doing this m'dude ! Im still amazed every stream.
After a couple years of watching your stuff and not pvp'ing myself, I finally built a cosplay invader (farnese from berserk) and spanked my first two ganks. One with over leveled phantoms and one with a teleporting host. The feeling is phenomenal
A pissed-off Chase is the best content-making form of Chase 😂 Nothing makes a man feel better after getting ganked 69 times than watching these vids lmao
I know, right? If I'm invading and there's a blue in the world, even if it's a cancerous gank, I don't black crystal: I've been playing DS3 for nearly two years, and have never had enough patience and commitment to get Darkmoon Blade.
@@blue_caduceus592 You can get it offline but grinding Silver Knights is miserable. If you're going to just send your Blues home why even bother putting it on in the first place?
Me cosplaying as Raime vs three try hard spell casters happened yesterday. They are the only active invasion option at my level. Had to put down DS3 for a bit
I have the hardest time finding pvp matches like this with my sl100, 120, 140 etc but gank city with my 330 is super active. Weird man but love it lol Guess I should mention I made a sl25 +1 twink and it was busy at that horrendous swamp for invasions lol. I earned the twink though having to play through solo for the hornet etc. Storm ruler is awesome at low level haha
good job bro, as always. how to be a pro in DS3 PVP - in 3 easy steps: 1. learn spacing 2. equip shield and straight sword 3. run figure 8 and press r1 The figure 8 will bait the enemy to attack, right after that you hit with running attack r1. edit: my only method to counter this is to predict and fish. Do the same and run the figure 8, but far away and passive. People who use this are greedy, so just take a moment and bait them with your own figure 8 tactic. they learn and think that you are trying the same, after a while you can sense their level of greed and let them run into your spear, katana or rapier.
Hi, have you ever tried to fight against Elina? It is located after boss Sulyvhan (where the giants are). You are very strong and I would be curious to know how you deal with her
Why does he keep equipping and unequipping the ring of favor? Does it make you run faster or something? That seems like a weird bug in that case and does it only work with that ring?
5:46 Pretty sure he sent the blue home because he saw he was about to die and didn’t want you to get the estus. This dude is really just the scummiest of hosts. Closest to hacking without actually hacking.
How is it that recently i keep seeing these populated pvp videos? Do you have a set level range where the majority of players stay around, or did the playerbase increase thanks for some Steam sales?
Yeah, actually all levels from sl 80 and below are the most active in a wide variety of areas and right now, meta level (sl120 or 140) is mostly arena, gsnk city and some, but few, ringed city invasions
120-170 is great at pontiff, you can invade whenever but at about 10:00 there is just about nobody on, then at about 4:00 invasions come in like crazy, you can invade whenever you want and it's almost grunted you'll get one(those aren't time stamps)
Why do blues always gank, and are almost always super salty when they lose, or point down when they win, it’s like the “new” Giant dad (like people who did it not as a joke)
@@Bloo.2 Four people were on that frame lol. If you're talking abt the host, she had a lighting exile greatsword and Saint's Spear. If you're talking abt the other invader, it was an Aquamarine Dagger.
Personally I think the dark souls 3 abs dark souls 1 pvp tryhard players are just toxic (not all of them). The majority of the invaders Thst invade me when I’m hosting a fightclubs try to ruin the fightclub. That, is not that bad tbh. But the real cancerous ones I found were the ones that invade me in other areas away from pontiff and complain that I’m playing some type of way or being too defensive or teaming up on them. I mean, what do they expect? I’d be summoning friends to play through the game with and having fun. Also sometimes I’d play defensive if my 10 million souls are on the the line which I wouldn’t want to lose, lol.
I’ve been watching for about a month and chase the bro is really good at this game but gets mad at people for doing what he would do to other people lol
I might be in the minority for saying this, but I prefer dark souls 1 pvp over this game. HERE ME OUT! I'm not saying that the combat system or controls are balance is better in dark souls 1 (as it's clearly better in ds3) but how pvp functions in ds1 is better. I prefer the idea that the Invader has unfair advantages over the host and the entire invasion is usually in favor of the invader. This is because the host not only has to watch out for the hostile world and enemies, but now a player controlled enemy. But they do still have phantoms if they need it. In DS3 there's the blues that can come in and help/save the host from an invader and a seed that can turn enemies against the invader. Not to mention that being embered grants a health bonus to the host. It makes it that much more difficult for the invader to take on the host. To many times do i see an invader invade a host's world. The host has 3 phantoms, then seeds the world. If the invader somehow manages to kill the phantoms, here comes 2 blues to help the host. What's that? One of the blues died? Well then here, have another.
I agree with your point, invasions should favor the invader as part of the challenge of dark souls. Plus, it's fun as hell whenever the host kills invaders so that extra challenge become more so fulfilling after a victory
This katana guy (thrall hood) pressuring you in the group effectively, and stay fight with you alone even when you take initiative and was obvious you have skill advantage... and he got poin down for being rare brave and competent blue spirit. Chase, you so wrong...
@moonsauce this is dumb position. Invaders need gankers. We don't wont duels at a bonfie and we dont want always kill standart PvE coo-pers. And If we need gankers we should respect them as an opponents, or we be just hypocritical assholes. And ofcourse i'l dont mind to see YOU being one on one with somebody like Chase and how YOU perform "on your one" :)
it's embarrassing to see you complain about latency as if you don't understand the asynchronous component. They're rolling on time on their screen, they're hitting you with their sword on screen. Just as you should be doing on your end. It's frustrating yes, but it's not conveniently in their favour.
