Dark Souls 3 - First 4 Hours (In 45 Minutes) - Pyromancer, Katana & 3 New Bosses Gameplay

In this video we explore the new world of Dark Souls 3. Here I have compiled the first 4 hours of gameplay into 45 short minutes. This footage has gameplay of a Pyromancer starting class, as well as the Katana (Uchigatana) and 3 new boss fights; Iudex Gundyr, Vordt of the Boreal Valley and the Curse-Rotted Greatwood.
This video is based on BETA footage of Dark Souls 3 gameplay and my impressions of the dark fantasy RPG shown at a Bandai Namco event on February 23, 2016. At the event I was allowed to play the first 4 hours of the game and capture this footage.

+caseyetf32 Honestly... I don't even know if the PC has a release date yet. If past From Soft/Bandai Dark Souls practices have taught me anything it's that the PC version won't release until a month or two after the console versions. Very unfortunate.

I have to say your channel probably the best "dark souls channel" there is. If not for you I wouldn't have gotten to know the story and the characters of these games and I wouldn't have fallen in love with them like I have. Wonderful preview of dark souls 3 and I hope to see much much more of it in my notifications ;p

+Z-Virus how is he a pussy for not using a shield in a souls game? I for one, will be using a shield, and will be playing the warrior class. Melee combat is a must for me, and not being a knight like almost every other player in the demo does not appeal to me.

Holy shit, that Giant Tree boss with the corpses hanging from the limbs and falling off to attack you might be the coolest boss I've ever seen in Soulsborne games, or maybe any game ever... sweet! I can't wait another month for this... and I really hope the PC port is good!

+Darksilver Hmmm I don't know really, it sounds a bit more baked than the awesome OST of Bloodborne. Bloodborne had a real ochestra playing and a real choir singing. Dark Souls 3 sounds kinda like a mix between the computer-music from Dark Souls 2 and some real instruments and singers like in Dark Souls and Bloodborne.

I watched the first 15 mins. It looks smoother but minimally changed from dark souls 1. There is serious overuse of grey that reminds me of Skyrim. Hopefully there are some game play innovations and more interesting environments coming later.

From what i have seen my first Character is going to be a Beefy Knight, i already know of a few items to help with the health side of things and I've seen a weapon i already want. Large Health pool, Heavy Armour and a Strength weapon, no magic but i will go the way of weapon arts if my weapon has a decent one. Second and Third playthroughs are already reserved for Magic, Faith and Pyro runs.

i just disagree on that. maybe i'm not explaining what i mean. i don't like the feel of the character movements, the rolls or the attack animations in dark souls 2. i think bloodborne's movement and evade system was just about perfect. DS2 just felt really stiff and clunky to me.

Yeah, the part that confuses me is why you exclude talking shit on DS1....which had even Clunkier movement than 2 !! +remmus64 There is no power stance, except for weapon which specially have it as their weapon art, like cestus and legion scimitars (mercenary starting weapon). But I bet there is wakizachi somewhere with that weapon art.

They probably don't care but speeding up the gameplay still shows more than 45min of gameplay, you just watch it in less time. Those restrictions usually pertain to in game minutes not time it takes to watch it.

+Jon Follosco It's just some generic song I found on Epidemic. Also, yeah, the Vordt music is amazing, it's even more intense when you're playing. The first few times my heart was thumping.
