DARK SOULS 3 PVP IS SO ALIVE 

That game is so stupid honestly :D That mmorpg style huge AoE spells and braindeadly op ashes just isn't for souls type of game. Maybe it's ok for pve but definitely not for pvp. I really hope their next game will be Dark Souls 4 and not Elden Ring 2.

There also isn't a vast open world to contend with like Elden ring. Having a more linear environment means you can always tell where people will be based on their levels as there's only ever one route through the game

@@executioner_ecgbert884 I slightlydisagree. Uou can sequence break the hell out of ds3. Found this out my first playthrough. Got the game with mycousin. He decided to troll me cause I beat him in early game pvp by grabbing my controller while I was in the bathroom and killing the npc priestess in the church. He forced my first boss fight to be the dang dancer. Plus you can sit the cathedral and farron swamp differently. Linear yes, but routes can change save endgame irithyll onwards

@@executioner_ecgbert884 that and in elden ring, if you invade, and you manage to take out a phantom, ruin the hosts resources and drain the second one, but die, it doesn't matter, but in ds3 they either gotta run back, or go on and see if they make it to the bonfire

Dunno I thought they give some anti hack protection after getting servers back online but obviously not, dunno about mods 😀Already farmed my vertebra things for 100% weeeeee some honorable 1vs1 clubs still in game. @@wilburwhateley1114 iirc they got taken down because someone found an RCE exploit, which is much more serious than just cheats. Sadly the dev team just isn't going to be given the resources, expertise or permission to deal with a nigh-neverending cybersec arms race between anticheat and cheaters, so that's up to the fans.

I keep getting players that when I'm beating them they pull out a cheated greatbow that is somehow automatic. Can't remember the last time I didn't see a hacker/exploiter.

Nope man. Just came from it and it sucks hard. Just try it and you’ll see. True, the game is better without overpowered ashes of war, but DS3 PVP is 90% ghost hitboxes, 10% exploitation of long ranged weapon and poking. And there still are weapon arts, so you will still be attacked by a stupid overpowered skill probably coming from a DLC. DS3 pvp used to suck and it still does. But to be honest, I have yet to see a from’s game that actually does PvP well or at least balanced.

because dark souls 3 babies are spoiled with low skill floor. elden rings pvp was bad at first with multiple issues now its pretty good. thank god weapons actually do damage in that game instead of wet noodle dark lapp fights. plus theres less game breaking glitches like estus canceling moveset swapping weapon art swapping ringed knight sword canceling and infinite combo with splitleaf. never liked dark souls pvp they are all garabage but this one in particular is comical

@@fruitytuesdayz5760 lol what? Dark Souls 3 PVP is unmatched. Elden Ring has the flashy stuff. Low level pvp Elden Rings pretty good. Havent touched Elden in like months so maybe the PVP system got better but its not as good in the PVP aspect. But the open world and bosses make up for it

@@kiro253 I don't know about you, but I get ER invasions in a minute or even instant. Low level invasions are actually really constant.

dark souls 2 wins on pvp. dark souls 1 wins on level design. and idgaf about merchant system they all okay. i just dont like the hub off the map

@@fruitytuesdayz5760 The first souls game I tried was Bloodborne on my friends ps4 a long time ago. I loved the speed of combat and how much commitment you had to put into killing just one enemy (When I first touched it he was at Cainhurst and I thought the game was impossible) Later on I bought a ps4 and picked up a copy of the brand new ds3 at the time so I consider that my first real souls game and fell in love with it instantly. It’s still fast paced but deliberate and had way more to customize on your character. Back then I didn’t even know that red phantoms were players. When I figured that out it supercharged my interest. Ds3 has a special place in this gamer’s heart The reference to merchants was just me saying I miss being able to buy bombs and stuff lol. Not a huge fan of how tedious the crafting system is in ER.

I started playing on PC but man i avoid pontiff because there’s a hacker named It’s All Ogre Now that just infinitely flips you forcing you to alt F4. Now i just duel. Coming from console Gank city was my favorite area to invade but i can’t do that anymore.

I literally just tried at level 80 for 15 minutes at to get an invasion in gank city, feels bad man.

yeah ds3 is pretty dead, i try invade for 30 minutes and only have 3 invasion lol

I like level 60 at +4 and +8 for Aldrich invasions. I'm usually never waiting more then a minute before find action. I run into a lot of ganks and fight clubs at this level too.

If you want super active PVP, level 60 +4 +8 after Pontiff gives constant invasions. At this level, you can also invade irithyll, lothric castle, demon ruins, kings garden, and painted world. I have another guy at 90 +5 +10 for archdragon peak and spear of the church, not as constant though.

Lv your character to sl133 for meta invasion you can get a few extra lvs but you will still be linked with sl125 players.
