An invasions against the most passive 3 man team you have ever seen... 🎮 TWITCH ➔ / chasethebroyt 📱 DISCORD ➔ / discord 🐦 TWITTER ➔ / chasethebr0 📸 INSTAGRAM➔ / chasethebro
It probably hurts there soul to lose this hard if they're this determined to never lose, so I'm glad invaders like Chase exist and I hope they blew a gasket for being this boring.
Ohhh yea, he probably could've gotten one or two but he was greedy. Can't blame him though, in this situation. He deserved that triple plunge. If he'd even gotten one the host probably would have shit himself so hard he DCed
After running into chase twice and being 1 - 1 even with a trio, I don't blame these people at all and kind of admire all three of them having so much resolve together. I've 100% been watching these videos again just to prepare for his ass in Elden Ring which looks like it gives many many many new advantages to invaders.
Legit ive been invading at pontiff , and there is this one 3 man that blenders me as soon as i spawn in. I cant even roll/move yet and i am dead. Then i get the fat point down, and they tell me i am garbo.
Genuinely and I hate getting summoned into gang squads... switch to a blue and you still get summoned to.gank squads. I become glee if I kill 1 of three but Chase over here...
"Hey guys, welcome to the stream. Tonight we're gonna be doing some DS3 invasions!" *One Invasion Later* "Okay guys, thanks for tuning in. See you tomorrow."
It's depressing to think the host will recover all their souls right next to the bonfire, their phantoms will drop them another stack of embers and they'll continue to play this way, all while thinking the invader was toxic
"Bro did you see how scared the invader was playing? He just stood there and stared at us the whole time too scared to fight us." I've dealt with these kind of people a couple of times they think you're the pussy for not running into their 1v3 and you're a try hard for slowly eating through their estus.
No one was toxic just passive and boring. The host and the invader only have themselves to entertain though. A toxic player in my opinion is a hacker or dedicated gang squad.
@@anthonypincelli4007 In DS1 you could actually melt through entire teams with good timing because of how the poise system worked, I miss it for that reason. In DS3 you have to bait and attack, and if they don't want to do that you end up in a stalemate, and unfortunately this will happen a lot once a team realises how beneficial for them it is to play like that. Why take risks when you can just wait for them to attack and time a blender?
My god I would hate being in your shoes in this invasion. Like imagine being able to run all the way back, between the npcs, up the stairs to the angels, get on the rafters, and they STILL didnt move. Pathetic gank is an understatement. Glad you won this. ❤️
The edge walking really topped it off lol what was he even proud of ? Standing still for an hour? Lmao I’ve literally met people who have told me “we don’t like you because u run away” meanwhile I’m running away from a 4 man gank including blues. 😐 yea lemme just sit still for you lol
@@nickmaille5951 sorry bro But I also go through fog walls, specially when I’m just fucking around with friends I don’t care about the pvp at all and neither do my friends so we just go through the fog wall, idc, specially if we’re like already there
@@MARS-eb8pt lmao that's not even comparable you can't defend this behavior by comparing it to a completely different type of behavior. even though it's the same action the context is far different.
These guys had the will to stick to the passive blender only gameplan, even at 40 minutes into the invasion. Then Chase showed these men of will what will really was.
@@pienoaji there is playing smart then there is just being passive as shit, these were the ladder, they had cheese weapons, seeds AND numbers on 1 dude
You know, I would have forgiven them if perhaps they didn't care for pvp and would rather be toxic in hopes the invader just leaves or they rush the boss door, but it didn't seem like that, as when the host had the chance to rush to the boss door, they just didn't, nor did they just dc when things weren't going their way. The only other thing I can boil this down to is that this group had a horrible time with pvp and now are afraid that every invader is some DS3 god, so they would rather try to fight on their own terms or not at all.
It’s finally here! God this was such a painful fight to watch live, the fact that people really choose to play the game like this is awfully sad, and it points out the glaring flaws with ds3 pvp. Glad to see you come out with the victory
Keep in mind, in the actual stream it was like double this length. There's a huge difference between playing passive with coordination, and being an annoying little bitch who is scared to fight even if it's a 3 v 1
I think it might have been a bit telling that all three of them had the Ethereal Oak Shield equipped from the outset. Something tells me these guys have legit just attritioned through the entire game
I know this was like an hour of footage your edited down. Was very entertaining and im glad you picked this moment to upload. All love brotha! Thanks Chase!
This exact thing happened to me in this exact location 2 days ago. After 20 minutes I killed a phantom and the host ran to the boss room. What drives people to fear this doorway so much?
I can't even Imagine what kind of person would do this. Anytime I see toxic behavior I just assume it's young kids who don't know any better but the sad part is, this could not possibly be kids, a kid doesn't have the patience for this. Chase the patience!!!
I already did something alike, but that was actually to punish toxic player (the kind that only ruins the pvp, like going into the aldrich stairs to annoy you or use glitches), that is pretty effective, they either leave or get into kamikaze mode lol.
I’m not sure I would call this behavior toxic. I’d call it careful. How many times have you been playing a dark souls game and someone with boatloads of experience over you keeps invading and negating all your progress? What they’re doing here is by far the safest way to play, even if it is insanely boring. It’s important to remember these people aren’t playing to be recorded and entertain us, they’re playing to go through the game.
@@unamericano This kind of playstyle is neither safe or careful, it's just needlessly delaying the inevitable. The host could have tried to escape with their phantoms covering them or just toke the L but decided to prolong a fight they knew they couldn't win.
This is what 3 people sharing 1 neuron looks like. Using every mechanical advantage they can and *still* they suffer, due to having absolutely no skill.
Oh...oh! This was a Dark Souls 3 video! Shit I didn't realize until I read the title. With how this host and phantoms were playing, I could have mistaken this for a Final Fantasy game! Edit: That guy with the bow pisses me off. He's like the cherry on the shit cake. When blendering the invader doesn't work, let's turn to being as much of an annoying prick as humanly possible behind this safe blender wall!
Well played Chase, love how the host runs to the lift, desperately trying to escape. Personally, I never got into invading while playing through the souls games aside from some achievement hunting excursions. The only times I actively played with others, it was always to hang out and help people beat bosses. Always enjoyed a good one on one duel but these ganks.. how do they look in the mirror in the morning? Such cowards.
The interesting thing abut psychology is it explains alot about the words people choose. What someone uses for insults is what that person is themselves, becoming a mirror of inner feeling. Call others a coward for not engaging in a run-away tactic into pve is nothing short of narcissism in this scenario. Which is okay because if you were to not fight cowardly you wouldn't have lasted. So I dub thee the master of the coward strat, well earned 👏
It's interesting to see Chase in these situations, because that's mostly what I encounter and die to. I lack strategic thinking for PvP and at that point just run in to see how long I can last.
I did something similar waayyyyy back in dk3. It was outside on the rooftop of the library, The host was hiding, and too scared to move ahead I guess. I kept killing phantoms he would summon, over and over for almost 2 hours. I don't know why he never dashboarded, but when I got bored of it I hid in some rubble using an emote and went afk to do housework, and came back to probably 25+ messages trash talking me for being a coward. Some people, haha.
This fight must've been supremely boring, but honestly it was a valid tactic, they were able to piss of the invader and in most invaders cases that would lead to a costly mistake that would end the invasion and they would go about their day, it's too bad the ran into a good player like Chase
Just found your channel and have only played through Dark Souls 3 once so far, but wow these people seemed even more afraid of PVP than I was at first XD
OH MAN... that was like when there's an annoying as villain/antagonist in a series that you have to put up with for a whole season, and only in the end do they get their comeuppance, but that makes putting up with their shit whole time all the more worth it. 😩👍 Great job, Chase! you're the best.
this is like the super long version of that Elder Scrolls online trailer where the buff ass paladin absolutely dominates the barbarian, rouge and knight
The only thing we can pray for is over the years Fromsoftware has watch videos such as this. Maybe then invaders will get a bone or two to deal with this kind of playstyle in Elden Ring.
They feel like some sort of experimental AI that has gone through billions of cycles, and decided that defensive blender is the only valid strategy that exists.
