Local man ruins everything. Again: farmstead edition.

Everyone desperately healing themselves back from death's door and Jester just sitting in the back shredding on his mandolin.

An otherworldly, maddening blight that changes the very fabric of reality, distorting even the time flow? ... **snort**

A brilliant confluence of skill and purpose!

I like how everyone but the Antiquarian looks ready to fight, and she's like "Shit, I'm gonna die here, aren't I?"

Miller: "WHY?!" Ancestor: "Its just a prank bro."

- You arrive at class. - The teacher says you have a surprise exam. - This music sounds. - "Festering fear consumes the mind!" - *Fear*

The techno sounds to accentuate the interstellar nature of the enemy’s were a nice touch!

I really like the introduction of synth- / e-guitar sound in this track, a possible symbol of the stellar, alien, futuristic (?) nature of the new threat of this DLC. Great work!

The colors, how they dance. How they sing! A dirge of infinite possibilities! But not for us! No, it was never meant for our kind! This is for *them.* For *them* it is a promise of new experiences and life! A chance to run wild and free across the boundless fabric of existence! But for us? It is naught but the curtain call for our way of life. A keening, falsetto chorus of insanity! There is nothing for us in those blighted stars... ONLY RUIN. WE ARE DOOMED, WE ARE ALL DOOMED.

This has such a unique sound compared to other games, its not just because the game itself is different but the music also, excellent job on giving us players a formidable, unique, setting.

I think this is my favourite OST from Darkest Dungeon. This song has such a... severity. Powerful, yet almost melancholic. It also has this subtle, otherworldly quality - I especially appreciate that it is subtle and not the whole focus of the song. Fittingly, it feels like an endless barrage of monsters thrown your way, weathered and beaten you hope for an end, yet there is no such thing in sight... Incidentally, the song is perfect to work on an arduous task.

This piece and "Dark Mitochondria" are probably the best music compositions I have ever heard in any videogame (three decades of gaming and not slowing down lol). Even when the gameplay gets boring the music still makes playing worthwile. It's amazing how well you capture the sensation of slowly going insane while valiantly trying to hold on to your withering humanity during the final epic battles. Hats of to you sir!

People like you inspired me to become composer,Keichi Okabe had final straw(and convinced me to play piano) but without you and many other composers it wouldnt be possible, thank you for your magnifiscant job

And once again the Master of one of my favorite game surprised me again with this magnificient soundtrack (I think I did over do it but who cares the soundtrack is awesome)

I rarely do this but I bought several of your songs on Itunes with "All Things Must Come" being one of them. There's something about these songs that shake me out of my apathy and embolden me to take action when I am paralyzed by fear and doubt.

No wonder If you are Hollywood movie Composer ! Absolutaly falling love into ur music. Cant imagine this game without your Musics. MUSICS are beyond the best !

There are two reasons to play Darkest Dungeon: 1. It's a good game. 2. The fucking music, man. Atmospheric, majestic, mystical, and yet, neither heroic, nor encouraging. Just perfect.

Somehow it never occurred to me to listen to this game's ost just for the atmosphere.

For my entire life I didn't leave a single comment on RU-vid, but I couldn't resist this time. Stuart, you and Jesper Kyd are my favourite composers. While everyone else are getting worse and keep copying each other, your every track is a masterpiece. I'm listening to your music since Prince of Persia: Sands of Time and I was never disappointed. Thank you for all your work.

i really love how this piece is composed Stuart, to me the main theme is not stress or despair but melancholy and sadness, which in itself is beautiful, but opposed to the military type percussion played it gives it an hopeful feeling of battle. It's like the Miller said "look at all my life, swept away by man time and even space, all things must come to an end" with the strings And we and our heroes put our foot in the sand with the percussion to say "true, we'll all be dust one day, but NOT today" It's honestly so fitting for its title and beautifully expressive to me :)

This one sounds strangely heroic. Like a desperate kind of heroism. Fighting against eldritch horrors beyond anyone's understanding. Hopeless. Yet continuing to fight on.

Best of this DLC's OST. This is not for the Miller fight, but the sad atmosphere fits him well.

I never got a chance to interpret the music during the harvest bc im so focused on the gameplay but this song is so tragic. Just like the name.

I accepted the idea that all things must end very early on in my first darkest dungeon experience... but I still find myself wishing that it just wasn't true sometimes, like when I played this song for the first time. You nailed it again Chatwood.

I don't have the game myself, so I only just realized that this is a remix of the Town/Town in Chaos themes. Now I need to listen to the other ones, to find the other areas' themes, lost and reflected in the infinite depths of the light

Your music is simply great, the sense of pure awe that you can achieve with them is mindblowing and also the 1/4 of the reason I love soo much this game.

There is such an eerie quality to this music. It deeply unsettles me in the best way.

This OST somehow manages to sound distinguishable from the others, yet be perfectly suited for the theme. It's ominous, it's fear-instilling, it's got that spacey sound lurking in the background; I love it!

Something I can appreciate about this tune is that since it's likely to be repeated a lot, (even moreso than others since it'd be back-to-back play) Stuart made it simpler and more mellow. If it had really dramatic parts like some of the other tunes, it might get annoying after a bit. This seems perfectly fit for extended listening and still has as nice of a sound as some of his other works.

I know Wayne June gets most of the fandom now. But like Spielberg with John Williams your massive contribution should never be overlooked.

I found out about this game 2 months ago(somehow). Just got DLCs yesterday, and just wow. This game would not be the same without the atmosphere the music, voice acting, and art all serving together perfectly. Great work and can’t wait for DD2!
