...so, if your title is "The Keeper of Souls", don't you think your arrival should be announced with a sound effect more... I dunno, dignified than a freaking slide whistle?
A proper survival-horror in the same vein as classic Resident Evil/Silent Hill games set in a biomechanical, Giger world be 100 different kinds of awesome.
I'm guessing the Dark World exists in his head only and that's why he only dies there and always comes back to life.. and.. uhh, in the case he doesn't and falls into the river of blood I think he just fell face-first into a puddle in the real world and drowned.
For those of you who want a better look at the Keeper of the Souls, check out this ebay auction. Look up "Necronomicon 2 art book by H.R. Giger," That's her on the cover of H.R. Giger's Necronomicon II. You can also see a picture of the woman who inspired the design for the Keeper of the Scrolls. That's Giger's first wife in the photo with him.
Wait a minute... If the carnival teddy bears turn in to cuddly Shrimp Babies in the dark world, then shouldn't the game over screen depict an enormous teddy engulfing the planet?
It's games like these I wish someone would update and port for the 'new' generation so the people who were confused as hell over it the first time can get another crack at it a second time around.
@DaveDoggOwns its true that this game doesn't fit with ds1.. in the first one mike had an older voice.. in this game he sounds so teenage.. and in the first game mike was more self confident actually..
