This sounds like a Raze 2/Raze 3 kind of soundtrack more than a Darksiders 2 one, and I'm not complaining because both Darksiders 2 and the Raze saga are incredible master pieces
Awesome💯🔥 I see Death wearing sunglasses and chains and making beats on that AKAI MPK MIDI controller just... jamming 😂. all jokes aside _ Very clever execution of chops and the whole thing especially without compromising or over doing it/overwriting the melody part. It's simple and nice.
YES! This is an awesome entry. The drums are perfect for this sample. 1:35, I'm telling you man I got goosebumps around that part. You outdid yourself and out-shined your opponent this round. Great work.
I have to say fighting the guardian with this song made me feel like grabbing a stick and going outside to bash some corruption in the face, but then I remembered, I want to beat the game first
It took a while to grown on me, but I eventually ended up putting this remix among my favorites of all the remixes related to Darksiders 2. Also, I'm curious: You included sections from Aesop's Fable "North Wind and the Sun" in this remix. Why is that? And what is that last phrase near the end of the remix, between 3:19 - 3:22? I'd really like to know.
In all honesty I have a version without the vocals of the story, but I used the vocals for the competition that I was a part of at the time. It was all just to make sure I was falling under the rules of the round, which was for the song to feel epic. I was like 18 at the time so I just looked up stories that I felt I could integrate into the song. Now I don't think I really did it justice, which is why I have 2 versions of the song.
@@blacctoad It definitely differentiates it from other remixes I've heard. And honestly, if you offer this piece for someone to listen to without any context, I think the vocals fit just fine. Good work.
hey man there's no guarantee, judging by this entry you should do real well next round just believe in yourself. Also id love to start collabing, as I have a WHOLE lot of things in the works
