Darksiders 2: New Infinite Jump (Non-Menu)

Infinite Jump without having to go into the menu, and a faster way of skipping the Psychameron Puzzle. This Infinite Jump also doubles as a Long Jump. More info once I've fine-tuned/tested a few things.
NOTE: This is a genuine Infinite Jump, you don't need to be near a wall or anything like that. I did the jump near the wall for the sake of efficiency.

For the old version you have to have a weapon out before you can do it. So slash your scythe and then it should work. The window is pretty big.

You're not gonna like the difficulty of this new Infinite Jump then, the timing is about 20 times harder.

After 2h off practice and attempts I succeeded in clipping out of bounds on top of the small walk in the abyssal forge at Iron glade... Quite a letdown but I fuckin did it...

I still can't do the original IJ. Every time I do it death jumps infinitely at the same height. Never goes up.

ive just try but dont work, reload habilities are tooo long so i cant spam like u did, menu option dont work too, and im on ps3

This is on PS3, I know it also works on PC. Don't know about 360, but if I had to guess I'd say that it does (probably needs to have no patches through).
