Here is the story line so far then Darksiders 1 War is summoned and then imprisoned shortly after enter Darksiders 3 Fury doing the Charred councils bidding meanwhile Darksiders 2 Death is off doing investigation of his own while War is imprisoned and then released and kills the Destroyer thus resummoning them all I am loving how this story is weaving together quite well and can't wait for Darksiders 4 with Strife.

@@tonysmith9905 Yea believe me I looked into it too cause I love the biblical idea of the 4 horsemen but yes the original ones are war or conquest, death, famine and pestilence however in the Darksiders franchise they are war, death, fury and strife

This takes place during the 100 years of War's imprisonment. Sometime during that time window, Samael left the Black Stone (his keep) and then got imprisoned at the Scalding Gallow. So we might actually meet him in DrS3.

Darksiders 4 redemption. So if im wrong about this, The final game is about the four horseman started their final journey to face the charred council for whatever sins they have commited (except for the important information from the lord of hollow, maybe the only elder lord who knew about the charred council's true nature all long.)
