/ discord wanna learn how to play darktide? already good at darktide and only want to spam out malestorms or just want to chat have your build reviewed or gameplay critiqued? this is the spot
I KNEW this was good learning footage hahaha. Thank you man that was amazing. I never even look at my grenade count and ability... that will now change. Also if u look at chat i was slightly bewildered already at how they were moving through the last area and i very very much did not want to be in that place where we died. Definitely should have gone into either that room opposite, and if it was up to me i would have been at the tunnel behind cause there are chokes there too. I feel I'm often too passive and just following the team around 🤔 Also too passive when it comes to threats, should have recognized that last poxburster coming and moved to take care of it
Great video, hope you do a lot more of these. as a newbie, just the mechanics mentioned in this are super helpful... for example, when you mention that the flamer won't shoot if you close into melee range... wasn't consciously aware of this. No doubt I've experienced it, but in the heat of the moment as a new player, picking up on that kind of detail while trying to stay alive might take me a while. Not to mention a real-world example of not being able to fight your way out of a situation due to weapon choice... again, obvious when you think about it, but very much brought to life when you can see it portrayed like this. Top-notch content right here imo.
Another note for shredders I think that doesn't get hammered in people's heads enough is that their main damage is bleed, and because of that the example I like to use is ragers as a prime example for a shredder nade target will lose around 15-20% of their health from a single grenade (6 bleeds), but using 2 will make them take around 60-70% of their health (12 bleeds). It is a massive difference. A single shredder is for peel. 2 is for a kill.
Hey Tanner, great stuff! The part in around 19:00 is where my group has a ton of problems, I look at the stats at the end of a failed match and I'm the only one using the block button, think you could do a video fleshing out the basics of defense for us weenies that never played vermintide?
It’s like watching tv with my wife…. Always pausing 😂. Seriously amazing video though. More of this content please. I’ve started having abilities in the centre of the screen. Would be good if it could play a sound effect when ultimate / grenade was ready.
Maybe you should link a guide for basic recording and sending in the descriptions of those videos, so players who have no idea how computers work have an easier time with that
You should also do the opposite like Winterstarcraft's Bronze League Heroes series for Starcraft 2 where you watch low level play and shit on it. Seems right up your alley lol.
@@TannerLindberg To be clear, it's voluntary by the players involved. A sort of "Roast my..." type of thing where the roasting becomes funny but also educational.
I'm stuck at Damnation, struggling to get into Auric without being a burden, yet I am not struggling in standard Damnation. I just can't work out what I'm doing wrong. Stuff like this is exactly what I need. I'm also thinking of posting a bunch of videos now for you to pick shit on.
Nice video. Im nowhere near this level of play as i picked up the game this month and dont have a lot of playtime but i really enjoy your vids and explanations. Currently leveling my vet and not sure which keystone i want to go for. Im leaning towards the tagging one because it seems easier to use for my mid tier brain, wait for stacks -> tag something -> profit lol
with focus target, don’t wait for stacks, especially if you’re using the upgrades for it that give toughness or damage. just spend the stacks constantly, because if you kill something before the stacks regenerate, it automatically goes to 2 stacks. consider having max stacks to be a cool bonus you get if you’re fighting a monstrosity or after an elevator or quiet section
Honestly watching this I feel like with demolition expert just drop the cooldown and take field improv bc two lucky procs kill it anyways even holding 1 grenade so waste is almost unavoidable but you’re paying the talent point for consistency
Proc means to activate, in this case he is referring to is the veteran talent Demolition Team. Every elite or specialist killed in coherency has a 5% to give back a grenade, ie a 5% chance to proc grenade regen.
@@ericpilgrim5347 Thank you, I appreciate the reply. I understood the mechanics of it, just not the etymology of “proc”. What word is it based on/abbreviated from?
@@IranianOyibo afaik the term "proc" came from WoW back in the days. Something along the lines of "programmed random occurrence" when your crit chance activates, it "proc"'ed, mostly percentage based.
Every players loadout has a responsibility And every player must do their absolute best, no matter the cost to do the best My job as a veteran Loadout number one I am your all purpose sniper will kill everything with a heartbeat And if I miss, it’s because the emperor gave you the right to kill the target I missed And if they get close my chains sword through them with 180% better cleave after hitting three targets And do more damage after hitting those three I think the perk was called rampage can’t remember exactly, correct me if I’m wrong Loadout number two Sweaty try hard, Columbus With a knife it does not have riposte I wish I did Loadout number three bolt gun With I’m pretty sure it’s a knife I prefer to have a sword so I’ll check my load out in a bit and put a reply in this for what I have Loadout number three Plasma gun, I think With a knife Loadout number four My swipe swap loadout I put whatever the hell I want into the slot number four I just can’t remember what I put into it One of my loadouts is an officer build Using the heavy laspistol And specifically getting close point-blank range constantly And shouting every time it’s off cool down Loadout number five my devil fighter the midnight stalker Equipped with shotgun or Columbus Or even the recon Laz guns The whole purpose of the loadout is to cloak, reposition, engage cloak, reposition, engage In that order and if I can’t, I’ll fix it myself You’re dying on the ground I’ve got you have some grenades from this box I picked up The whole load out is designed around. I’m going to shoot something. And then I’m gonna disappear if I’m required to And if I don’t have the knife, I’ve got the sword, both work wonderfully If I have the shotgun, I’m using the law for the spread shot on infested enemies If I’m using the Columbus, I’m aiming for everybody’s and using stripped down for sprinting through gunfire And if I have the recon last gun, I’m not gonna stop shooting until I’m out of ammo All of my loadouts cringe They have their uses, but that’s it
