I was about to go to bed for the night but the melee only Maelstrom was up and I love running Melee Psyker. I'm playing with 200 ping since I was with a majority Oceanic Strike Team while I'm situated on NA West so my screen felt like molasses but that's not as bad as playing Vermintide 2 pinging 300+ to Eastern Europe.
The build is a further tweaking of the previous C-I-VI Psyker run trimming out the warp damage talents to full send a pure physical build outside of the passive brain bursting and Soulblaze ticks. The Agripinna Revolver was brought for panic flick shots on annoying Specials while having a decent ammo pool compared to the Zarona (though it might have been better in some situations just from being able to aim down sight).

How would you rate deimos vs MKIV dueling sword? I tried both, dueling sword seems to be stronger right now.

I’d rate them as equal with choice based on preferences. They both perform similar roles as a melee weapon. I slightly prefer the Deimos but I can run either with equal performance. Deimos has advantages in higher on demand damage on its easily spammed heavy 2 stab that has abnormal levels of stagger that puts everything besides mutants and monsters on the pavement on weakspot hit. It has worse mobility compared to the mk4 in exchange for higher damage potential (especially versus monsters) and obscene stagger. Also if you have unstable power or slaughterer on it its light attack combos can reach more one shot breakpoints against 2nd target+ chaff with some unconventional forward cleave from its stabs. The mk4 duelling sword is a much safer option with almost the same damage potential except for monsters. While the poke duelling swords have as their special attack is good stagger it doesn’t come close to the eat the pavement levels of bullying the Deimos h2 can output. That said the mobility it has is no joke and could be the difference between life and death if a psyker has a staff as their ranged which typically won’t offer good mobility.

Dude, thank you for thorough answer. You are right, heavy follow up poke with Deimos will put even Crusher on his ass. Then again, most of the high level content is simply mess for me to utilize effectively (if I do, it is pure coincidence). The mobility and penetrating pokes with MK IV are for me much safer option. I do hope we will see more weapons for psyker, especially some two hander force weapon (force glaive/halberd) disrupt destiny melee psyker is definitely fun!
