The knowledge you have is insightfull and I have learned a lot. I think what would help your videos is don't make comments or speak as if a particular topic in dark tide should be common knowledge and be careful not to talk down on your haters too much. Focus on the great content that you make and don't get sidetracked with the BS love your content bro.
Could you do this on all the classes and go a bit slower on showing the completed tree. It's hard to reference where to put points as you go through your explanation of each point. A build link or overview of the full tree would be awesome
When talking about powersword mobility, I think it should be noted that your powersword only has a passable mobility roll of 51, while your knife has a near maxed mobility roll of 78. Not entirely sure but I think if your powersword mobility roll was higher, your buffed PS dodge would have been on par with the unbuffed knife dodge. Mobility is the one stat you can skimp on anyways, just get enough for the max dodges, so I don't think this really matters. Also that statement about stamina and poxbuster/hound pushing is the sole reason I stopped running deadshot pre Class rework, back when our options for stamina regen were a lot more limited.
I think the intro was good, a bit of gameplay to show how the build works on particular situations. I also think a full gameplay would be good after the build explanation (ideally in a pub game) to showcase both the build and your skill. With full gameplay or not, your videos are great man (light bulbs lit a fug ton after watching your psyker skill tree explanation).
loving the build because i wanna run harder content for the rush of it, but I also play this game as a chill thing so your bit on being the solo carry 'edgelord' was funny given how i play and still do good being chill (no downs/nowipes on tier4) though i'm sure this will change on higher level content.
i wanna see how close to getting overwhelmed you get . i wantef to see if that build and you could beat the bulwark chaos meatball combo incoming. keep up the good work.
As for a Power Sword (Mk6 in this case since It's better than Mk3 animation set) when using special and then light attacks you clear hordes easily. You also get stab which with special action can 1 shot maulers, dregs or maniacs with right build. Boss damage is amazing when you stun lock boss by using VOC and krags, easy headshots and 2-6k dmg per swing, especially nice when fighting daemon host(yeah fuck those things, I prefer to fight them when It's clear instead in the middle of the wave).
New to vet from psyker and zealot, for weapon specialist do you think its worth the points to take its augments? Like the one that makes you reload your weapon by 3.33% every melee kill up to 10 when you pull out your weapon? Ive been using it with the plasma and its been fun but i also feel like I want other talents like field improv.
I figured you had carapace on your columnus cuz u were melting crushers. Im gonna have to engage with brunts if i want a better one or just change mine if possible. Ive been using a chain axe to one shot crushers but i want a shovel. The shovel my ogryn has goes hard that MK VII shovel the new thunder hammer.
The MK VII vet shovel can two shot crushers if you have thrust on and then the 20% damage to Ogryns & Monstrosities talent or 20% Carapace perk. Take elite DMG talent as well to reduce the stacks of thrust needed. It's not too hard to do as the special deals alot of stagger.
I think if it’s a build video the 3 min mark should work. If people want to see a gameplay video they can check those out too. Maybe leave a link to the full gameplay video. 3-5 for build video
Confused what you mean with Voice of Command not working on Elites, only Specials. Voice of Command does nothing to them? It gives you Toughness and staggers them. And with the ability modifier, that's Base damage. So why would that not work on Elites?
7:11 I do not believe you can drop Close Quarters Killzone because it is a required "travel" node to get to Onslaught which I believe is required for shooting Crushers.
@@hakusu If you watch the video he says you can drop the keystone. Other than dropping the keystone you could also drop Reciprocity in my opinion but I am nowhere near as good a player as Tanner.
Since this vet build leads to a 60%+ melee crit chance at most times, would bleed on crit be a better knife talent to run? Or is the consistency of lacerate too good to pass up?
Dude my aim in this game on console is so bad at times man i really gotta get my sensitivity dialed in but darktide feels so weird to me on the sticks honestly who even knows at this point. Plus i spent forever with 3 of my sensitivity bars on default without knowing so ive been adjusting it ever since. My aim with the columnus is so bad its not even funny and the gun feels so bouncy when i start shooting it i feel i constantly waste bullets.
You'd probably want the 20% DMG to Ogryn and Monstrosities talent and the generate ammo on weapon switch for the keystone. You could remove the stamina regeneration speed, the brittleness on hit 16 stacks and the close damage on ability use nodes for this.
I definitely am not good enough to just casually beat auric solo that takes all day to get one good/close attempt in. If all i gotta do is pull a chocob and get out of the first room thats doable.
Toughness regen only effects coherency. The time it takes to start regenerating and how fast it regenerates. If the build already has alot of ways of regenerating toughness it's not as necessary. I never bother with it on Zealot or Psyker as they are very self sufficient. Some of my Ogryn and Vet builds use it though. Toughness replenishment is different and effects all toughness regeneration. If you run triple toughness regen on Ogryn with coherency buffs and middle keystone they regenerate by being near team mates really fast.
@@nontologicalbeing From what Tanner has said before you should always run triple combat ability regen, then 2 to 3 stamina regen. After that you can mix up sprint efficiency, block efficiency, gunner resistence and toughness regen, in that order and depending on build. For builds with low toughness damage reduction you may want some gunner resist, for builds without many ways to regen toughness you can go with the toughness regeneration speed.
The shovel is not a finesse weapon so doesn't benefit from crit chance as much. So you could drop the entire bottom right section but take the stamina on avoiding range fire with dodge and sprint for the following; Then you have 7 nodes to put into 25 toughness node to Ogryn & Monstrosity, long range damage, no ammo use on crit, deadshot, middle keystone and the replenish toughness + stamina on tag that comes with it to enable deadshot.
Oh and take thrust and decimator for the shovel. With the bonuses to Elite and Ogryn from the talent tree you will two shot crushers with the weapon special and 2 stacks of thrust. For the hellbore go with crit related blessings.
Thx to be honest I just got my vet to 30 and the higher difficultys really scare me im on xbox so dodging is more difficult and I don't want to be that guy who fs up a hour long run cuz hes new lol@@torm0
I think the gameplay was plenty Long. It was short and high intense enough to keep attention while being long enough to display a taste of each of your breakdown points :) Please make another video about “trap talents” that people love but are garbage in practice
hey chocob doesnt upload true solos? he uploads him self leaving the first room of true solos and malestorm clutches i could upload 50 videos back to back of me spending the first 7 minutes leaving the first room thats not super hard.
I don't care how long or short gameplay segments i just want insightful commentary dubbed over it to make it interesting. Raw gameplay footage or with random commentary is boring to me. Tell me why i should be interested in what I'm watching while I'm watching it. Otherwise I just watch my own video captures and stay a scrub. I'd love more commentary explaining the less obvious game mechanics. Particularly how buffs are being utilized during key gameplay moments. Example: while i was shooting x mob y buff activated giving me z effect thus this whatever thing occurred in that moment.
