I love the veteran's pragmatism. All the others are like "Yeah, the emperor will see us" and such and he is like: "Look, I just want to survive another day in this crap hole"
I love how the Veteran and Psyker are just over it all, which is what I expect would be the actual attitude of people once they get away from the Zealots constant parroting and misusing of High Gothic like they’ve only read their own universes history from memes

5:21 The Loose Cannon Veteran Sharpshooter pointing out the enemy threats without knowing the correct codename for them, while becoming increasingly exasperated in trying to remember what the hell is supposed to say in the heat of the moment, is the full reason why I regret going with a female officer lmao.
@@spamhere1123 I think the _"Serious-LARPER Male Zealot"_ is the only personality in the game that I dislike. Ended up rerolling my zealot as _"intolerable fancypants noble female zealot"._ I mean she's _clearly unlikable too_ but at least in her case I knew exactly what I was getting into from the beginning, and that made it okay.
So if Morrow fought in the second war for Armaggedon and the tyranids at Macragge, that places him at AT LEAST 200 years old, depending on the time that the events of DT take place, which makes sense, considering the resources that he can presumably wield
@@FairlySadPanda Battle of Macragge was 745.M41, and that's probably not the first time he saw action, so that places him solidly in his 300s, unless there was warp fuckery involved, as the veteran implies
Emps is the biggest fedora tipper ever depicted in fiction, won’t acknowledge gods even after turning into one. Well either that or it was all according to some hidden plan that GeeDubs will never get around to explaining.
If I'm not mistaken, in actual WH40K lore, the Veteran Guardsmen find this sort of behavior to be sentenceable with a sudden case of "death by stray lasgun shot" :)
"Zola fights well, yes?" Me: *Remembers Zola running away from the poxburster in the opening cutscene instead of shooting it killing several teammates.*

The conversation at 10:17 suggests that the Psyker knows that his Beloved is the Emperor himself. Or at least he thinks it is. Also the sass at 12:00 lol. Yeah no shit, Emps. Ever heard of metaphor?
@@aRandomFox00 Sanctioned Psykers are psychically connected to the Emperor, so that makes sense. That whole Beloved thing makes it sound like a harem, though.

Unfortunately not. And with psyker being a playable class i doubt they will be added. Something about driving your other psyker teammate insane the moment the look at you doesnt sound very balanced.
Ok, so Morrow fought on Macragge, I guess on the first Tyranid Invasion, and the second war of Armageddon, then got lost in a warp storm for god knows how long and was the only survivor. I have a sneaking suspicion that "Morrow" might be the Traitor, Xenos are one thing, but the corruption of Chaos is a different threat all together.
Regarding the zealot line recommending self flagellation during warp transit. This draws Slaanesh daemons. At WORST you are guaranteeing a fate WORSE than Christian Hell for yourself and hundreds of others for no reason. At BEST you are flagellating yourself for no reason.
