Rebecca Carpenter was a rock star bad ass! She responded from Big Bend to help with the Christmas Parade massacre. Her body cam showed the facts. She handled him professionally that night. And was fantastic on witness stand. Definitely in my top 5 favorite witnesses! Brava!
He knew he has lost control of her as was shown in the last time he questioned her that's why he tried so hard to discredit her after she refused to answer his calls anymore

Darrell Brooks became combative & argumentative every single time the subject of a DV altercation on November 20th was brought up. Darrell tried to maintain that because the charges were DROPPED by the prosecution, the DV NEVER HAPPENED. However, it was explained....on the record in open court...why the prosecutors chose not to include that DV incident in Darrell's long list of charges & it wasn't because nothing happened.
I'm floored he thinks that way, shows what a derp he is. They dropped that charges so it wasn't confusing and take away from the real issue, him attacking and murdering intentionally so many people. There's more victims then I think people realize, they all that saw this event have to have some form of PTSD. I feel bad that was never mentioned the mental health impact of all those not physically injured.
Speaking disrespectfully to the court as the jurors were filing in was not a good look for Brooks, no matter what he believed. He only managed to look worse...as if that was possible!

I think that is what the DA wanted the jury to concentrate on. Same reason why they dropped the Domestic Charge for November 20th (the one he claimed did not happen because the DA dropped the charge).

I never understood why he lied about being “slammed”. It’s not like he’d never been arrested before. He had to know they had body cams, but again he tried to use the phone and looked at the papers (I’m sure they left those behind on purpose) in the interrogation room. He had to know they had cameras in there as well. He’s either the dumbest criminal alive or he’s such a pathological liar he just didn’t care. I often wondered if they had sat him down and showed him the video of how he lowered himself to the ground like the dog he is and then ask where he was slammed? What would he have said?

Brooks says he doesn’t identify as DB but during trial he answered to his name several times without saying that. He even made statements saying he didn’t say certain things when questioned by carpenter.
When he argued regarding what pants he was wearing, the zoomed video gave a closer look of him not being slammed to the ground. He was one of the state’s best witness. What a complete idiot.
Plus, Brooks was hearing everything on the police radio in the squad car until he was transported to the holding station and later transported to the hospital for medical clearance.
It's a Sov Cit ploy. Sov Cit defenses are not recognized in a court of law. She addressed it in a written ruling. She does not have to address it again. He refused to read it so it's on him.
Re: flip flops Darrell Brooks told detectives during his interrog that he was wearing his flip flops when he was "body slammed" & they somehow disappeared during the "take down" & Darrell didn't know where they were. He never once told detectives they were in Daniel Rider's house.
Brooks also told Detectives Carpenter and Stearne’s that he was wearing Green Bay Packer flip flops (actually they were slides) and that they were green. Brooks was actually wearing blue Milwaukee Brewers slides. Brooks was trying to be “slick.” 😂

16:47 I’ve worked in banking as a teller for the majority of my career and I can confirm that when you work with money, especially in an environment when robberies occur, you know where the cameras are located. Every employee in retail and retail banking gets training beforehand. Safety protocols are taught to us. We all know where those cameras are. The problem with that woman is she was an amateur and didn’t care what the cameras caught. That’s my 2¢.
@@zephyrr914 drawers not balancing by pennies or a few bucks is common but not by a hundreds or thousands. Missing sums can usually be found in errors on the computer or in paperwork for that day. If it becomes repetitive then that’s when they start honing in on the camera footage. You would have to be pretty cunning to get away with stuff like that.

You have to keep in mind that he was blaming the parade incident on Erica. That’s why he kept phoning her almost 40 times while he was in the lock up to argue with her because he was blaming her so as long as he could blame her, he felt he had no responsibility for what happened.

I’m assuming since he never did say he did it or even eluded to running through the parade he had to continue his ridiculous charade. He continued to blame Erika. At one point Carpenters partner said something along the lines of youre a grown man who makes his own decisions you can’t blame someone else for your actions . Also he didn’t give a 💩 about all those people he killed and hurt. He proved it again and again. Just the fact that he couldn’t take ANY responsibility for his actions is astounding.
If you ever wondered what type of sandwich was found in Brooks’ pocket, I know what it was. A person in the live chat of a video I was watching of Daniel Rider’s testimony found Daniel on Facebook and asked him what type of sandwich he made for Brooks. Daniel replied that he made Brooks a ham and cheese sandwich. No information was given about the type of bread or if any condiments were put on the sandwich. So, now you know what type of sandwich it was! Also, Daniel just got married and he works for the waste management department for the city of Waukesha. He and Officer Sonia Schneider were featured in a video about city workers in Waukesha.

I saw that video where the girl was taking money from her till. I was a cashier in the 80s and 90s. We didn’t have cameras on us, but every night, we had to count out our registers. It had to balance. Even with no cameras, we would have been caught if we were stealing.
