Most people would be ashamed to come at another human the way he’s coming at Erika after what he’s done, but Darrell Brooks had no shame. If he had shame he couldn’t come into this court with all these victims & their families and hold his head up.
I swear, Brooks just used the stand as a way to force Erica to tell him why she left him! She must have told him already, but he’s faulty in so many ways 😂😂😂
Have you seen Norman Nicks channel, he comes to the conclusion, as I understand him, that it was in fact all Erika’s fault. From her seduction at age 14, until now.
@@donnafisher6212 lol I have not! But unless she drove the vehicle, I don’t see how that is true! It is suspicious that she called him to meet up meanwhile she requested a restraining order to keep him away. But again, she didn’t drive HE DID! And he didn’t stop 🛑
@@donnafisher6212I used to love his channel. But now I don’t. I’ll leave it at that. Won’t bash him. That being said, I don’t believe he said that. If it wasn’t for her telling him where she was at? It wouldn’t of happened. I watched all the one of his on Brooks. He got burned by her after trying to help her. Then became ANTI Erika. That’s when I stopped watching his channel. So unless that changed his story. I never heard him blame her before their falling out.🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I want to tell you how much you make me laugh and how much I enjoy your commentary and your laugh is hilarious in that time you mentioned about the hair club I laughed all day you make my day
He fuxkin takes ZERO accountability for his actions . Can't even call himself the defendant. Shit he claims darrell brooks isn't even his name !!! Which was the most pathetic thing I ever seen. Thats not my name and I don't know anyone by that name . He sounds like a fuxkin idiot !!!! He's legit worse then a 5 year old who doesn't get there way
@@colleengaskill2792😂😂😂 omg... me too. But got annoyed every time hed say" is it fair to say" "Would it be fair to say". He heard thr prosecuter say it cpl times and he ran with it. But there are so many times he says something that just annoys me. Another was when judge said not to talk about SMJ to the jury in the closing he said "oh yea i know its commmon sense to not talk about that. Then he immexiatly starts talking about it.
Darrell's story to the detectives during that interrogation CHANGED....Erika's story didn't change, it was enhanced with more details, but it remained consistent. Darrell couldn't comprehend the difference. 🙄
He tricked erica in coming down to Milwaukee and said they would living with his mom in her house. Instead they end up living in a tent in the backyard and then in the suv. He end up beating on her the whole time she was down there and end up going to live in a womens shelter when he ran her over with the same red suv. I'm glad the judge finally stopped his cross with her. All he wanted to do was talk bout her drinking and try to make her look bad, possibly to get her kicked out of the shelter cause in his mind it's her fault he drove through the parade which it's not. I like that they made a baliff stand in front brooks when erica was leaving the court room. Shows the judge was looking out for her.
She also said they were only supposed to be there for 2 weeks. I feel bad for her. She trusted him. I know people blame her for a lot of things, but when you've been in an abusive relationship for a long time, sadly, your abuser can talk you into believing a lot of crap.
@@juliefisk8066. She’s not the innocent woman you think she is. As many funds as she received, she could’ve easily gotten a bus ticket back to Atlanta. She knowingly broke the protection order about talking to Brooks. She told him where she was. I understand the psychology about being a DV victim and the hold their abuser have over them, but she knew she wasn’t supposed to talk to him or meet up with him.
The Milwaukee court made arrangements for Erika to go live at the women’s shelter. In case Brooks made bail after being arrested after running her over with the Escape and threatening her on the phone, the court felt it would be in her best interest to not live in the same city where Brooks lived. That’s why Erika was at the women’s shelter in Waukesha. Erika told Detective Guth this as they were driving around Waukesha to retrace where Brooks drove her on the 21st. That recorded conversation is available online to listen to of them talking in the detective’s car.
His own mother didn't want him there and she put both of them out and they were sleeping in his truck I know she at peace he is away from her I pray she doing good now
These questions he asked Erika is only for his own personal reasons. Another way to have some control over her since he gets to ask her questions. This shows the jury just how abusive he has been to her and for how long. It proves he’s a predator considering she was only 15 yrs old. He’s so damn dumb he doesn’t even consider how the jury is seeing him at that point. All his focus is on Erika
Oh I hated every time he said “let me back up”. Boy you should have backed up that car that day instead, now you wanna back up all your bs with the witnesses in court.
Lyle I agree with you I like detective Guth also because he is not answering anything that Brooks think he should say out of his mouth just like detected Carpenter and the rest of those officers he tried to trick them up and he is the one looks like a jackass
Those people died because Brooks is a narcissistic psychopath. Hes a monster. The fact he was even free in society with his criminal history is absolutely insane and speaks to how lax our justice system had become. How does a non registry compliant convicted pedophile with MULTIPLE violent offenses, some involving firearms, which as a felon hes not even legally able to own, and one previous incident involving the SAME SUV still free in society? What happened to the three strike rule? And why are some of these county DAs opposed to doing their job?
Brooks thinks lying and not being forthright are synonymous. He thinks not being forthright is lying. He’s so stupid. There were so many words he didn’t know the meaning of during the trial: forthright, collate, cardinal directions, unfettered, initial (meaning first and not the first letter of of your entire name), and more that I’m forgetting.
I love how Ryan Roeglin (the DA’s investigator) always escorted the women off of the stand and put himself between Brooks and the female witness. That was very kind of him. A bailiff also got up and stood on the left side of Brooks in case he tried to get close to Erika.
The entire State was so kind and gentle with those poor victims! It still amazes me how well that community handled the entire trial! Even when Zack had to cross the mom of 4, he handled her with kid gloves, all the while, Thanos snapping the heck out of dumb dumb Darrell!
I wonder if that is why he asked Det Casey who he was. Because of the way he was escorted the female ( ESPECIALLY Erika ) off the stand & out of the court room. But he also helped escort his stupid a** out of the court room as well when they manhandled him out.😂😂
Thank you Lyle because detective Guth is not going to say he did not believe her he is going to tell Brooks what forthright mean just like you just said
Darrell Brooks should not have been able to disrespect Erika Patterson during her testimony the judge should have stopped him from battering the wittiness.
Badger* Let’s not pull a Darrell brooks and mispronounce legalese 😂😂😂 They almost treated that lady DA in Georgia like a hostile witness that was pretty fun to see.
Guys, it is on the prosecution to object to the questioning. The judge sustained EVERY OBJECTION. A judge cannot "shut down" the questioning of a witness. The judge has to be IMPARTIAL. She cannot object, say something is irrelevant, or decide that his questioning can't continue. She isn't supposed to know what the defense's argument is. You people are playing lawyer and having no idea what you're talking about.
@Jimmymatthewb it is actually on the judge too, because the judge has control. She doesn't have to wait for an objection for her to stop brooks. It's out of the norm to do so, but she didn't have to wait
@@Jimmymatthewb also, if you think she can't stop the questioning of a witness, then you missed the part of the trial where she states the law that allows her to do so. So, if you want to tell people what they don't know what they're talking about, make sure you know that you're actually correct with what you say.
So true. He has done her bad for 16 years she was only 15 when she met him just a kid I really wish her the best and if I had been around d.b to icwould drink lol
I loved seeing the deflated look on his face as the verdict was read. He actually seemed surprised, as if he thought he had a chance of walking free. I read somewhere that he was throwing poop in jail
This fool is locked up 23 hours a day what is he doing that he can't prep for trial?? hes lazy but yet complains that hes winging it. Wasting time and making the whole court wait on him while he comes up with a question and you know when brooks says can you state for the record and for the jury, what he really means is he wants to know.
Remember when Detective Casey was testifying for the second time and he was talking about meeting with all 3 baby mommas? Brooks asked him why Casey needed to meet with Jessica Maclin and the baby momma in Iowa and Casey told him it was because they wanted to get info from them since they were on Brooks’ speaker list and witness list. Brooks said he didn’t have them on his lists. I saw his speaker list and Brooks DID have the two baby mommas on it.
He had a major hissy fit whe Zack brought up DB getting convicted for sexual abuse of a minor in Nevada. Kept saying it was a lie, even though the conviction was on his record.
Has anyone realized that Darrell is a snitch? He snitched on the prosecutors, the jurors, the bailiffs , and Erika, he tried blaming her drinking sayin she caused all of what happened the day of the parade ….GP GON LOVE HIM
You can tell by the energy in the courtroom that the Judge, the State, and the Jury all despise Darrell and are infuriated by his insensitive questioning of this woman that he physically abused and attempted to kill. The Judge and the State only allowed this to continue because they could tell that his questions were only making the jury hate him more and more. Every question was 10 minutes less deliberation time.
I reset the notifications, again, cause I missed another good one!! Darn it! You picked one of my favorite Attorney Wittchow smackdowns! I loved every time he Thanos snapped DB right back to cold hard reality!! And I was just commenting today of the irony in DB being brought down by some awesome, powerful, smart, strong women…the very thing he despises!!!😂🤣😂🤣. Love your videos, but I gotta catch a live!!💜💟
He was arrested by Rebecca Carpenter, prosecuted by Sue Opper and Lesli Boese, had Jennifer Dorow preside over the trial, and the jail administrator is a woman and she set and enforced all the rules of the county jail. She, in a sense, told him what to do and when to do it in the jail.
Every night after court he called his mom and she was "coaching " him on what the Milwaukee evening News legal expert was saying about that day's session. If we notice the state is asking a lot of leading questions and Brooks didn't know they were leading questions. It wasn't until like day 4 that he started objecting and his objections were for leading
The prosecution investigator listens to all DB’s phone calls . He then reports back to DA Opper so she is aware of what “Tricks” DB will try in court that day. 😂🇦🇺
@@beverleyferguson8942. Thank goodness Ryan Roeglin did listen to them! Opper’s team met every night to discuss what happened that day in the trial and to discuss strategy on how to handle Brooks the next day. Brooks started adapting and so the prosecutors had to adopt as well.
@beverleyferguson8942 actually the jail listens to all calls, not just Brooks. They also open and record all incoming mail. That's how they were prepared for his weak Brady claims about vehicle malfunction and how Zach put on the record at the end of the day 12 that Brooks mother sent him the pictures
@beverleyferguson8942 given his criminal history Brooks should have been aware of police recording interrogations, phone calls and numbers called and opening incoming and outgoing mail.
Erika was still being controlled by DB . Erika wouldn’t just say You” she still used. Mr Brooks, him, or the 3rd person. There is a lot more to Erika Patterson than is being revealed here.!
All he wants to do is make Erica look like a liar about the 20th he does not want to be shown as a liar or shown as an abusive because he wants to prove that she is and he knows what they drop those charges but he still wants to bring it up to show that she's a liar or to try to show he is completely and utterly pathetic and I'm glad he's rotting🤢🤢😡
16:40 this is going into Darrell Brooks little foggy bag of evidence. Brooks was mad that he felt as if he didn’t get to submit any “evidence “ but when he requests the copy of the record, he will see all the evidence the judge tricked him into submitting 😂😂😂. Anytime annotations were erased from the state or only shown to the witness, she asked brooks his opinion and he played Opposite Day every single time and “published” it, therefore making it evidence 😂😂😂 Judge is a genius
Can u explain that a little better lol. Just wanna understand how judge played him. Cause the prosecution def played him a few times for sure by knowing what he would do like getting the music video admitted cauae he wouldn't let go of that pic of his back
Since he just got through questioning Erica he is trying to find out from this detective what she told him? He tried to be slick but he only looks foolish
I looked up the prison on Google, oh my goodness it's very brutal. The prison is surrounded by razor wire and a high voltage electric fence. The guards do not stand for any nonsense. Brooks must hate it.
@@davidbrown8517. I hope Brooks lives in misery the rest of his too long life! The guards at the super max will NOT put up with his shite like they did at the Waukesha county jail and at Dodge.
He’s trying to blame his actions on Erika. That’s what he told Det Carpenter. It was her fault and she drinks. She didn’t pay his bond for running her over and injuring her earlier in the month. Mom woods had to pay. The knucklehead was simply upset at her for the $$ he told her to pay and she didn’t. He said him running her over was her fault. That’s all this is. He’s mad at Erika because he can’t get over on her anymore. There’s no such thing with karma as a Christian. Im going to give the glory to God who helped her in her situation to set her free from DB and another chance to get right. Now she needs counseling.
And you know that diaper " STANK" from those yellow chiclet teeth. Ugh. His hands are nasty too. The fingers are almost all the same length. Ears deformed too.
Did y'all know there was another woman that was supposed to speak on his behalf? Guess what she was underage when they met. Luckily, her mama knew he wasn't wrapped too tight.
Brooks is trying to twist things. But the truth is the truth something he’s unfamiliar with. And obviously obviously something he doesn’t know how to handle.
It's amazing after all the abuse Erika endured that she is able to stay so strong. She is composed, thoughtful, and answers with intelligence. She is a very special lady. God bless you Erika. ❤
When he's telling Judge D. he wanted to be his own Attorney, he says something like I'd be, "Best Served." An we all knew it meant torturing this Woman along with making ALL his VICTIM'S PAY for what HE did to them. When he left that park, he knew if he got caught, he was never going back to Mommy's backyard. 6 Zach said, he took the Cowards way out.
But even if she was drinking, what is that got to do with him, running down a parade. And killing people. And what does that have to do with him punching her out nothing wow.
He just wants her to look as bad as he could . That's why he tried asking about her other kids the next time he questions her and he was fuxkin smirking and shit when the judge said it wasn't relevant. He tried so hard to tell the court she has more kids with other men. Suxh a fuxking snake . Im so glad judge shut him down when he tried tho
Sorry for commenting so much but this man makes my blood boil mark he was pissed that she did not give him money to bail him on a jail after he ran her over can anybody understand that kind of reasoning anybody? So six people had to die numerous people had to be in the hospital not with little things either with huge things and trying to pay these medical bills. This ain’t Canada baby.
Idc how much Erika drank-she didn’t run anybody over with a vehicle, she didn’t kill 6 people. I believe that was “Not Darrell Brooks”. He is so desperate & evil. And why does it matter who Kori was with”?
Starting at 23:15 Do you see how he looks in the judges direction CONSTANTLY to see if she's looking at him so he can let her know he's pissed! His desire and need for attention is disgusting. I love judge darrow and believe she did amazing. I however did not like how she allowed the questioning go on so long for Erica. Maybe it was to let him ask all those irrelevant questions so the jury could see what kind of man he is. Maybe she was allowing him to dig his own grave 🤔
Erika has a pattern of choosing partners who abuse her. Her in between liaisons in the 16 years off and on with brooks were the same. Her current boyfriend is abusive as well. Erika herself was abusive towards kori Kunkle. So, Erika is no snow angel. Erika is currently using her old ways to hustle money.
I believe 1) he's was trying to find out if Erika was seeing anybody else while he was locked up for running her over, and 2) narcissism isn't insanity.. he just really believed the jury thought like him.. he thought EVERY BODY thought like him, that's why he'd use the word obvious so much..
Notice while he looks through "his" paper work, he is asking random or repeated questions, no written notes from himself to form appropriate questions, he has no clue in what he is doing, which exposses his own poor judgement in requesting to do his own defense..... shuffling papers while asking questions...compare him to the prosecution.....😅😅😅
7:22 Erika’s face 😒😒, she was NOT havin it 🤣🤣 ….u can tell she didnt wanna have nothing to do with him….SHE WAS DONE…and the fact she had to be there ….and Darrell was still being annoying and wanted to see her because he miss the control he had on her….Did he really think she would STILL consider being his girlfriend after what he did to her and the chaos and mayhem he caused afterwards?? Make sense being that it was stated he called her 37 times from jail and she never responded….Good for u Erika 💯
I think I know why Zac chose when to object, it’s because the questions that that DB was asking EP was painting a picture of his character as an abuser and a criminal for the jury.
He objects against the prosecution just because he’s going to go against them no matter what. He knows the sky is blue but if the prosecution said it’s blue he would say it was different.
The judge shouldve stop all plaintiff questions on every witness. She should of 906.11 him on those and if he kept on then she shouldve stop his cross but I guess she had to let those slide so it didn't seem like she was bias or how brooks would say, Biast.
Many will beg to differ, but I do believe that Erika called him out there because she was drinking, in a town where she didn’t know anyone, and Kori and Nick was hanging out and she wanted to get busy with Darrell. even though he is a piece of shit and he made that murder suicide decision on his own after he left Erika. but his initial meeting with her was because she thought they were going to do one thing and he had recanting and bail money on his mind. That’s why they were arguing and he hit her. He’s a piece of crap for doing so, then driving thru that parade but she was complicit indirectly.
Never heard that theory. Murder-suicide? He wasn’t going to kill her or himself! Not even himself by suicide by cop. As so many commented on here has said!😂😂😂 BUT if that first scenario had happened???? Those 6 INNOCENT victims would of not died. Think about that. 🤷♀️
@@Inbetweenthelinesnow I understand your comment, but I just meant initially for the first 40 seconds he didn’t give a damn about what happened. Not her, the parade participants. But, just the first 40 seconds. He was angry, anything was possible initially, until he snapped out of it & made a run for it (after flying bullets) I wasn’t talking about; him killing her then himself. Again, this is hypothetical.
He's the type of anti social that repeatedly ask the same questions as an intimidation. In order to pressure them to answer the way he needs them to. Going up against these accusations with that mindset will land you under the prison 💚 we pray for prison justice everyday
Maybe Judge Dorow and the State let it go on for so long with so few objections was because they could tell Erik's inner strength and that she was handling herself fine, so that Duh-rell could continue painting himself into a corner. The jury ended up finding out plenty about their unusual relationship and his abuse. It was good strategy actually.
You can tell by the energy in the courtroom that the Judge, the State, and the Jury are all infuriated by Darrell's insensitive questioning of this woman that he physically abused and attempted to kill. It was indeed a good strategy because it only served to anger the jury more and more.
