You are one of the greatest singers of all time. So wish I could have seen you live. You dudes deserved all the success in the world. I genuinely miss your voice and the one-of-a-kind feeling I get when I hear your singing. There is nothing quite like it. Hope all is well and you are singing lullabies somewhere far away. Thanks for the constant inspiration over all these years.
@@killerfoodnation8347 He inspired me to study vocals and form a band... This is the result: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-urNEK0xK-h8.html
I am so happy that I found Fair to Midland, their music is one of my favorite things about being alive. I was OVERJOYED to find this song, I love it. Thank you
Andrew!!!! I pray you & your family are doing well, along with the rest of the fair to midland family. I miss you guys so much! I miss watching you live & hanging before & after shows, but I do want to say thank you for all the sacrifices you all DID make during the ftm days to provide us with incredible art & entertainment at great costs, I'm sure. Your music meant alot to us all & I am still convinced that your God given talent of singing/instrument playing/songwriting/performing comes straight from Yahweh, the creator of the heavens & the earth & Father of Jesus Christ! thank you for that glimpse of heavenly music you've given us without even knowing it! Lorraine & I miss you over here in the desert heat! We love you! -Roger
Darroh - you have been with me in my thoughts and through your music for many years now. I will never forget you and the music even though you may not want to hear from me. Your music was there for me in sickness, health, good times and bad times. Because of you I came out of New Age to go back to Christianity. I have also done a lot of inner healing because of you. I wish you'd make more music. The world needs to hear your voice. ❤
I have to say, i really love FtM, but this feels so unpolished, raw and meaningful. i love this.not produced to be clean or to sound crisp and clean, i don't know how to say, it sounds so imperfect, and fragile, it's like people. This rules, thanks for sharing it with the world.
FtM helped get me through some brutal times (for which i bear the scars)...can't think of too much that's more depressing in the world of the music i listen to than FtM disbanding. can't we trade in, i don't know, disturbed and even system of a down...along with every falking 80's hair band that reunited to cash in to inane songs that were hits back when the USA collectively was smart enough and with it enough so that "cherry pie," "every rose has its thorn," and "seventeen" became hits instead of any number of shite 80's
I like how this song is chill and intense at the same time. Really nice writing. There are so many different layers going on and it all seems to mesh together.
I have always been a big fan of your music and this track is no exception. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that I hope to hear new stuff from you sometime soon. And thank you so much for all the great music over the years.
This is amazing!! O.O You say rough demo.. Ya'll's rough demos are always PERFECT. And then you blow me away with perfecting perfect!!! It's insane!! Keep it up. I'm loving every minute of these demos. =)
His voice is one-of-a-kind and leagues ahead of the rest. Fair To Midland never gets old. I wish they would do more like this. Erstwhile just wasn't the same without this magnificent voice.
Dude... awesome. I miss you- saw you in FTM back in 2011 (I think) with Serj Tankian! Been getting back into Fair to Midland again, and I remember why you guys were one of my favorite bands. Fables from a Mayfly is an important album to me, and I really took heed with Arrows and Anchors. Your voice does so much, man. Music here is great, too. Hope to hear another album someday, even if it's your solo work! Love you, plus the band!
[Lyrics I found on a FtM Page] Throw caution in the air, You really should have been there. I've talked myself out of things, I wouldn't turn to cheap affairs. Wait your turn I have seen enough, No one listens with an inch to grow. Break my arms with a calling card, Now the filth is where I make my home. I waited for a time to grow. I waited for a no show. So if you walk on air, Don't get caught in a blank stare. Wait your turn I have seen enough, No one listens with an inch to grow. Break my arms with a calling card, Now the filth is where I make my home. If you have then make some promises, To my chest on the day of rest. You just took off and acted like Jack Frost, In the fall I stood by your cause. Wait your turn I have seen enough, No one listens with an inch to grow. Break my arms with a calling card, Now the filth is where I make my home.
Awesome!! Hope you're releasing these solo tunes sometime in the near future... an EP at least. You have surpassed Maynard James Keenan as my favorite vocalist!
@cornnugget I believe it is supposed to be an octopus like the tentacle type things he has around his neck in many pictures (i understand that it only has five tentacles however it is a much easier way to draw it) I hope I helped you out, sorry if it didnt make sense, I tried :)
If there was ever a way to help make this released in a professional way, I want to help. I will lay down any guitar needed for free. Darroh, I know you said the internet is Satan and you may not see this, but I would be more than happy to help in any possible way that I can.
he seems to be extremely introverted...i can relate..and yeah i agree the internet is like 99% evil crap...he is smart for acknowledging this...i just hope he is happy in his life and well...people do suck and i hope he never lets it get his spirits down...and maybe even come back to us unworthy fans
I live in Tulsa, I think you probily remember talking to me every time you come here.. Anyway since living here I noticed you have a Native Amican sound to your voice. Is this true are you Native American or at least part N.A.. your frind and fan THROW OUT THE PILOT

+derik ks "Wait your turn, I have seen it all. No one listens with the... (I don't understand what he is saying in this part.) Break my arms with a calling card, now the filth is where I make my home." That's what I hear.
+Mike Ahern Wait your turn, I have seen it all. No one listens with an itch to grow. Break my arms with their calling calling card. Now the filth is where I make my home.
so yeah, darroh...the people on this planet who fancy themselves somewhat musically literate need a righteous infusion of proggish-leaning, cliche-busting music from you and your cohorts.
