I was just reading an article about the band that mentioned this song. I had no idea it existed. It didn't come on the album I bought. I don't know how it didn't come up in any of the numerous searches I've done over the years. I'm disappointed it took this long for me to find it, but god damn is it good to hear some new (to me) material from this band again.
If I had the means I think I could get them back together. At least Darroh and Cliff, they should have never stopped making music. And I'm sure Matt would be in too. It would be a task, but it's a possibility, these guys were epic
And truthfully I still feel guilty, and believe that they can reach another level, even still. I know a producer who has put out music for some big artists, and last I talked to him, he still wanted to work with them. His label made them an offer before they decided to sign with serj
FYI they have 4 albums. The first one is pretty different but still worth checking out; the second is great and along the same lines of Fables (including some earlier versions of a few of the same tracks).
Hearing this for the first time again after literally ages and I still remember the lyrics as if it was yesterday. Loved this song a lot. (and still do)
This song slipped off my radar for a long while for some reason - maybe because it feels wrong to hear another track after the epic ending of The Greener Grass? Anyway, I'm glad YT offered it up as a suggestion - I'd forgotten how much I like it
This... this was not on my album. I was RAPT with attention while this played. I wish I had obtained it so the ftm-gasm would have been one notch better. This song is beautiful.
Next time they come within a 200 mile radius of NJ I'm going to see them play, come hell or high water. Nothing short of a zombiee apocalypse would stop me. Favorite band of all time.
I never ended up seeing them. But in the last 10 years I moved out of NJ, got my bachelor's and masters in IT, got married and have two lovely children. Fair trade.
@KonradPolaczek No worries. It really seems like those people looking for their material are mainly people who have ordered it anyway. It's an amazing album :-)
@Truedoogie Pretty simple. They just split the boys and girls and had them sing the parts separately then the guy put them together for the track. :D If you listen closely I have the deepest voice on this song during that part.
yea, this and 'an honest con man' being left off their albums is a big reason they didnt blow up... those songs are incredible... and to limit them to apple users is just asinine
@meesterguitarmaster its a bonus track on various versions of the album. I didnt think It was gunna be on my copy (i preordered from amazon) but turns out it was:D
