Darth Vader Comic Issue 7 brings us one step closer to Vader's mission of destroying all the remaining Jedi after Order 66. In today's issue, we are told about the Inquisitors and how Darth Vader trains them...learning from the Grand Inquisitor that Palpatine has created a list of survivors from Order 66. The MOST WANTED on the list...is Jocasta Nu, the librarian who told Obi-Wan Kenobi to essentially 'buzz off' when he was looking for a star system in the Jedi archives files.
Could she be holding the ancient holocrons of the ancient Jedi and Sith? Could this lead to Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren's adventures throughout the Galaxy, finding all of the old ancient Jedi and Sith relics? Could this lead to Snoke or Rey?
Only time will tell :)

Jocasta Nu will ultimately hide the most powerful holocrons inside an ancient fossilized Sarlac pit covered by hundreds of meters of sand. She will tell Lord Vader before she dies and since he hates sand he'll lie to the Emperor and say he didn't get any information from her before she died.

Tom Barnes so true. She sounds pretty old yet she seems to be human so she shouldn't be 100s of years old. Unless she has some unique force power that keeps her alive far beyond what is normal. Or maybe Sidious said ancient in reference to her vast knowledge.

I would also like to point out that there was a holocron that kept a detailed list of all force sensitive children in the galaxy. During the Clone Wars it was stored in the Devron System, however after Cad Bane killed Master Bolla Ropal (who was the guardian of the holocron) one could assume that they kept it on Coruscant.

I suspect it will be a holocron with a list of children who are force sensitive that she has gone back for. Which would explain her reference to students and why the emperor is so interested in obtaining that knowledge. Since a new generation of Jedi trained in secrete could potentially bring his downfall.

With a repository like the one she built in that "school" I wonder if that is the actual site of Luke's New Jedi Academy. It would make sense to use a location already brimming with resources, structure, and information.

I agree. She has one of the most incredible responsibilities in the entire Jedi Order. Kind of hard not to be strict with that much responsibility. And honestly, she wasn't technically wrong about stuff "not existing" if it wasn't in the archives. After all, the record of Kamino was wiped from the archives without her knowing about it. And the Jedi have been the dominant power in the galaxy for so long that they would probably have knowledge of pretty much everything known about the Force.

At 4:26 you can see see dialogue (as voiced over) is eerily similar to the dialogue spoken from Luke in Episode VIII ("Jedi Hubris" was directly incorporated into the film). I really dig the idea of Jocasta Nu as the secret keeper of the last of the Holocrons. ALSO, if she kills herself, it'll be totally in line with Greek Tragedy. Nice work! (Post Episode-VIII review, regardless how you feel, the fact that there were no Holocrons in the Jedi Temple, as well as the inclusion of Holocrons across the new canon, I can be confident in betting that she did her best to hide and keep all the Holocrons before the Empire/First Order seized them all. I think the Holocrons have a lot more to do with the story, and they're saving that reveal for IX)

If I remember right from star wars clone wars series there were holocrons that the order used to keep info on force sensitive children. That there was a Jedi who's job it was to watch over it and the children till they were old enough to join the order. The Jedi was killed but you have to assume the work/job continued and that this info might have been stored somewhere else as a backup to keep it safe.

When you mentioned that you though maybe a student was hidden away, I think it’s more likely she’s looking for the list of force sensitive beings in the galaxy. There was a clone wars episode in which one of Palpatine’s people stole names from the list and was abducting children and storing them on mustafar. Maybe they hid the list after that and that’s what she is looking for?

That's odd I don't recognize Jocasta Nu. it's probably because I didn't pay attention when I was younger. I've watched the Star Wars prequels many times and I never knew that she was a Jedi. Thank you Star Wars Theory for doing these videos, I've learned so much about not only Vader but the other characters as well. Course Darth Vader is my favorite character but I've learned so much more about him watching your videos.

Thought: What if the information that SIdious wants is the location/ resting place of Snoke? Sounds like the kind of thing the Jedi might lock up and try to hide from everyone else. It would also explain why it is so well hidden and why she needs to live for the time being.

The more and more content I see from the Vader comics, the harder it is for me to believe that Darth Vader was once in fact, Anakin Skywalker. The way he talks about the Jedi philosophy as well as their combative prowess is shockingly foreign in a way. Despite, being raised and trained under the Jedi's influence. The duality between the two truly is amazing.

Btw. With this comic, we have confirmation that Quinlan Vos is still alive, as he wad included in the Grand Inquisitors' list along with Yoda, Kirak, and Ahsoka (anomalously, because she was thought to be killed in Mandalore by the clones, perhaps the report hasn't arrived yet.)

I think that it is likely that Jocasta Nu was searching for the kyber memory crystal that, when combined with a holocron, revealed the location of all force sensitive children in the galaxy. It was said to hold the future of the Jedi Order. If Jocasta wishes to maintain the Jedi legacy, a logical step would be for her to use this "secret artifact" to find the students that she requires. In addition, were anyone to be trusted with knowledge of the crystal's continuous "survival" and location.

the information that Jocasta Nu is looking and Palpatine is concern is probably an file containing information about force sensitive people/family/kids. that would give information to Jocasta to reclute people for her school of new Jedi and explain Palpatine's concern
