The original track (Hope) is perfect for how the audience and the rebels feel during this scene - epic, intense grandiosity - a mixture of awe and terror. This re-scoring is perfect for how Vader probably felt - a chance for him to vent the pain, crippling depression and searing rage burning every second of every day. Amazing how it changes the scene from a hype-inducing moment of jaw-dropping power to an equally impressive yet more emotional experience. We’re reminded of both the tragedy of these brave men being killed, as well as that of the broken, suffering shadow that is Anakin at this point, hidden behind the wrath of Vader.
By this point vade had let his thirst of power and inmature and stupid ambition, egomania and insecurities turn him into a dumb animal who was ready to kill his own son, like an automat, a complete puppet. Until he breaks free, for an instant before his death, in one last sacrifice, but by then his chains ran so deep that by breaking them he also ended his life.
@@federicorubionavarro3399 Vader wasn’t a dumb animal - he was incredibly intelligent, and a tactical genius in combat. He was just also brutal, ruthless and merciless, often consumed by rage.
Thanks! I always felt this scene needed more... _emotional respect_ than it had. The music used in the actual film was too proud and bombastic for my taste.
He lost his mother. He lost his wife. He believes he lost his children. He lost his friends and family. He lost his home. He knows his last and only friend cares nothing for him. We can’t excuse Vader’s actions… but we can understand them.
It kinda was. I have inspiration to make a lot of videos, and I have, but RU-vid has this annoying way of universally blocking some of my best work for copyright regardless of fair use. As a result, most of my videos never get uploaded and remain personal use only. -_-

Not much. That said, this video isn't about technology comparison - it's about music and it's effect on emotional tone. Keep in mind that I am also a fan of Star Wars, and that I don't want to provoke debates on videos that have nothing to do with debate.
@@Killerspieler0815 That was a joke on Star Wars inconsistency. Rule of cool beats "realism", that's why Star Wars is best. If I want realism, I play IL2, DCS, Steel Beasts, Silent Hunter, etc. and use real techniques and tactics.
I don't think this fits here. Yes it's an amazing song but, in context it is the rise and fall off emotions. Vader is clearly in his dark side feels in this one. You do not see the conflict like you did with Luke
