In this video I demo a set of replica Silver Widow darts that I picked up from the Darts Clearance store on eBay UK for $17usd. All in all with shipping they were about $22-$23. An awesome deal compared to the Silver Widow darts they sell right here in the USA for the ridiculous price of over $100! Enjoy the video!

Okay seriously... what the heck is the obsession with these darts here in the USA. Why are people shelling out well north of $100 for such a basic dart? They simply aren't all that great. I don't get it. I really don't! 🤷‍♂

Excellent review as always! I was lucky enough myself to grab a set of these before Darts Clearance sold out. For many many years I dreamed of owning the Widow dart due to all the marketing and hype on them here in the USA. I never could commit to the $100+ price. Glad I got these for less than $20.

Worldwide; nice review. Many years ago I had a set of the black widows; they cost $125 at that time; alot of money. I do love your videos showing you don't have to spend that much to get some really nice darts. It seems like some of the manufacturers nowadays are pricing themselves out of the market with their prices. Keep the reviews rolling.

Sad thing is, if you bought them before 2016 they were most likely the $16 ones that Red Dragon produced.

Another terrific video and review WWD. You found a great bargain buy there! Worth looking out for alternatives to the big $ darts provided you don't expect them to be perfectly match weighted, milled etc. You're looking and sounding a bit healthier too, stay well and keep up the great work!

I had a set in one of my Red Dragon lucky dip parcels. Traded with a US darter for far nicer darts. Lots of interest ( couldn’t believe how many people wanted them )

Where I'm from (Lancashire, England) we play cricket but we call it "coach and horses".... we have a different game called cricket where one team throws at the bull to take wickets and the other scores for runs...

The backwards hat was a nice touch, but you forgot to aim for trip 19, hit trip 17 and act like you meant to. Then you forgot to continue pounding open numbers while exclaiming "Its not a game till somebody hits 200."

Also, because I didn't have any, I'm supposed to use spinners. You can't play proper cricket without some sort of spinning flights/stems 😁 Hey funny note though... If you watch the sound test of my recent dartboard video you'll see that during one turn I hit trip 19 and a trip 17. That trip 17 was pure luck as the dart slipped out of my fingers and went right. I was throwing at 19's 😂😂

Holy shit this drives me nuts! My friends like to play but they are new to darts and are awful. I play cricket with them simply because it’s easy to learn, but I make them play the numbers in order so they can’t pull that accidental triple nonsense

Yes I paid too much for a dart that fits my grip. Sounds like you bought a set of 20.00 darts that two are close ones a bit off that you won’t be using. I like the feel and weight and shape of this dart and have not found any I like better so I use. So with 20.00 off my total I still spent too much but the set I bought was a set.

There was a knurled version at Pure Darts years ago. Not sure if it's still there. But to be honest it was more like a Bottelsen Devastator and not a Widow. Although both are fairly close to the same dart. ANd speaking of Bottelsen, Dart Brokers has a massive clearance sale going on right now with them

I wish more people would realize the $100+ Widows are nothing more than $20 darts with a very premium price tag 👍
