I’m in the military so I don’t take her with me but she also needs to stay in a warm climate because cold weather can also trigger sickle cell crisis. So she stays in a rehabilitation center in Florida year round. But hypothetically after service I could have my place up north and then take care of her in Florida and end up pretty much the same as this guy. To me your comment just shows that some people just haven’t experienced having to take care of sickly people. Now I do believe some people abuse a situation and exploit others.
