Always loved them; they’re musical🎹🎼🎸 geniuses as well as fabulous lyricists/poets! Mind blowing! I always loved their reading their lyrics, and I then became an English professor, and I was able to appreciate their masterful use of literary devices, after studying poetry & English, I have a whole other level of respect for their masterful use of literary devices! , and yes, John Oates, When one of the powers that be said, who the fuck do you think you are, Wordsworth; no, you’re both in a league all by yourself! 💜💜💜🎼🎹🎸🌟But I had a mad crush on Daryl, and I’m so glad I got to meet him twice and have meaningful conversation with him! He was very humble and quite shy, not to mention, his tall stature and good looks were absolutely stunning, even more in person! He was so beautiful! I’ll never forget meeting Daryl, for the rest of my life! Thank U, Daryl💛for your kindness! I’ll always support anything these guys do!

I am glad they bring up "the critics" downplaying all of John's contributions to the success of Hall & Oates. John has contributed to the creating and writing to many of their top songs. His background in all the albums production is tremendous. John is Daryl's great soundboard for ideas, helping like they just demonstrated in figuring out where to go with chords and how the songs were made. He is quite well spoken and versed in his musical history and what it has added to his own musical ability. I am glad Daryl backs him up 100%.

I love Darryl on the keyboard! He doesn't even have to look at his hands - plus he sings at the same time! Pure talent!

Can you believe, first time I clicked on this video, first question is song, It's A Laugh, exactly the part of 2003 concert I'm listening to, it's possibly the least of my favs, sorry. But for more than a year I've been listening religiously to Hall and Oates Live on YT. I should've went to see them with Tears For Fears but I thought it's something they'll do again - but looks like it's not going to happen again. Besides the thing with Daryl filed restriction order against John, something about Daryl charging John money for playing his songs on John 's concerts. I hope and wish they'd be friends again just like Tears For Fears after years or decades of having a falling out.
