Dash 8 Landing in St.Vincent(cockpit) 

omg i just love the dash 8....omg the noise it makes is fantastic

This brings back memories of my first plane ride around 1974. It was on a LIAT Avro which was light green in color. The trip was from Barbados (Seawell Airport at the time, now called Grantley Adams) to St Vincent (Arnos Vale at the time, now called E.T. Joshua). I distinctly recall feeling like we were going to crash into the sea, then suddenly seeing a cliff and the runway and touching down a few seconds later!

Thanks for sharing this video. I am a flight simulator enthusiast and St. Vincent is a challenging landing, even with the best of weather conditions.

I used to love doing this in Flight simulator, lol.. I could even fly & do tricks in the Bell jet Ranger helicopter, but never pursued aviation as a career.. Props to you guys, maybe one day I could join the ranks after all, lol!

Nice landing guys. Is Correa's market still there? Used to fly in to St. Vincent, stock up then take the mail boat to Bequia.

Better job on this landing video. You really nailed some great shots. But still remember, not all of the captains control movements to the panels is what people want to see.....a lot is the view out the window, or a show with the captain adjust throttles with the view in the background....mess with your camera settings and you will get it nailed down.

unless the visibility is bad you fly by looking out of the windows. you see your instruments for velocities and decent fpm etc etc.
