Correction* AEB has levels 1 - 3, level 1 is the least aggressive, and level 3 is the most aggressive, and will offer the most engine braking. I had this reversed in the video.

Thank you for such a thorough, well explained tutorial. I’ve had the bike for a month, and have learned a little at a time, but usually am having too much fun riding it to sit & mess with the screen. After watching your video, I went out to bike and applied what you taught, and now feel I have a complete understanding of how to navigate everything that’s available. The simplicity of changing rider modes and traction control makes me love the bike that much more!

Thnx, really helpful to see, most reviewers totally forget about this part of the bike. I'm picking up mine next week so this is great to already get familiar. Just don't understand why they didn't add hazard lights, I thought that was standard on all bikes and mandatory by now in Europe at least but guess not.

Thanks for the kind words, you will love the bike. There are some dirt roads in the mason NH area that are no longer maintained by the town. Some of them are part of the Flatlander Route. Do a google search and you can find the mapped route.

They relate to the optional MIA plugin that allows you to connect the bike to your phone and headset.

Is there a "miles to empty" readout for the fuel? Having 1 bar left on the fuel guage doesnt tell you much. Sweet bike and nice vid!!. I would love to get one!
@SticksTricks
@SticksTricks Год назад
Thank you! The Aprilia is a blast. Unfortunately there is not a "miles to empty" read out, which a lot of people complain about. I don't find it an issue though. It has 4 bars for the fuel gauge. Once you have used the last bar, it turns orange, indicating you are on "reserve", and starts counting the mileage you have ridden on "reserve". The general thought online is that you have around 30 miles of range on reserve, but I have not tried to go more than 15 or 20mi. I usually just fill up at my next convenience once I'm on "reserve", which usually takes me 10-20mi before I pass one of the usual stations I use. I hope this was helpful!

Great video! How do you turn on hazard lights on this bike?
@SticksTricks
@SticksTricks Год назад
Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately, there's no hazard lights on the Aprilia. The only hazards are the rears when you brake aggressively and have that option turned on.

Phone, nav, Bluetooth etc??
@scratastic1
@scratastic1 10 дней назад
It's possible to connect your phone with the MIA plug-in, but after speaking with the dealer he said nobody has ordered that option so far because it's not really useful. For navigation it only shows arrows and not a map on the screen, so not really worth it to lose other screen info over that, and you need to bother with a extra specific app and bluetooth connection. Much easier to just have a phone or GPS mounted on the extra bar that's made for that exact reason.
