As someone who has been using and breaking ChubbyButtons for years, they are the best remote available for motorcyclists. If only the build quality was better (no I.P. waterproof rating) and it ran off a rechargeable battery it'd be perfect.
So i recently purchased a lightly used Tuareg 660 that had the Trex crash bars installed the previous owner. While they look like they will protect the bike just fine, if I was to have a front impact, I will likely end up with 2 shattered knee-caps. So I'm on the hunt for something smaller. If the bike gets more damage as a result, oh well.
T-Rex has come a long way in the past few years. They had some stuff to work out but I'd definitely recommend them to people now. Airflow/Wind Rider are the same company; Top Merchandise. They have an F rating on the BBB. I've personally had some pretty awful experiences with them. Cool Covers are legit so anyone considering one of these, I would encourage using Cool Covers. And they are bike specific. They have one for the Tiger 900 and it even fit over my Sargant Seat which is fricken awesome! The double take mirrors look so good now. They've been on my list for things to buy for my Tiger. Loving the new design! If you're looking for wider foot pegs, you might consider the LoneRider ones. They just came out with them this past year and I absolutely adore how comfortable they are. They use soft spacers that let the foot pegs pivot based on how you're standing on them, and they have harder vs softer so you have more or less resistance in the pivot. They also have the rubber inserts that you can just pop out if you're off road. Very easy to pull out or pop back in. The bike looks fantastic. Looking forward to more videos on your adventures with it! :)
Did I see you at biking at Lake Quivira on Sunday Walter? By the time I realized it was you a awkward amount of distance had passed between us to call back a hello.
