Found your channel on RU-vid and it’s been fun.. am so much interested in data science am starting my graduate application pretty soon with an engineering background…but I really need your help with statements of purpose for masters in data science since you are a graduate and have an experience of how it is.… I will be applying to like 10 university in the Uk simply because am an international students.. your reply is highly valued thanks.

Hey, I just completed my bachelor's and want to do masters in Data Science. What do you think I should be prepared and know before doing the masters.( Do any courses or learn any languages)

I think that would depend on your current background. In general, getting comfortable with Python would be a good start for the machine learning modules (from my experience). At my university, they focused a lot on R because they preferred it for academia, so there were already plenty of R classes but most people actually wanted to learn Python. Basic statistics would also be useful unless you already have a foundation in maths. I think statistics courses would make your life easier during the master's but I currently don't have any course recommendations.

I've seen people with all sorts of different backgrounds, so you're probably fine. Engineering is at least a STEM subject, which will definitely help in data science.
