Datacrons Bring A LOT of PAIN to the Game... | SWGOH GAC 5v5 

@colintrinder7914 it's honestly infuriating going through GAC rn. Everything is turned upside with the newer set with have. But that seems to be the case every time we get a new set

@@GingerJesus I mainly just focus on getting the level 3, 6, and 9. The stats are pretty much just random. That’s why some like the one on the Kelleran team are really good, but the one on JMK was lackluster. I think your problem was the counters you were trying more than the Datacrons, though. I don’t think SEE is normally a good counter to Reva even without her Datacron. Malgus is much better. That’s what I usually use. If you have the Sith Datacron that lets you ignore taunts, it does make it a lot more consistent. JML is a very good counter to Kelleran. You didn’t use JML on defense or offense. I guess you could have been saving it in case there was something in the back, but DTMG only has about a 50% win-rate against the Kelleran team I put on defense. NS are about the same. But even if you don’t count the Datacron, I actually have my characters decently modded. If you’re going in with a relic disadvantage, that’s going to probably tip the scales more on the loss side of a 50/50 For GAS, CLS is a counter, but the damage reduction does blunt it somewhat. I think the bigger issue is you went after Rex first. Who you hit is largely determined by Fives’ protection. If he’s around 120K (which mine is), you should hit him first than go after GAS. This knocks him down so you can take him out more easily when GAS kneels. If Fives doesn’t have close to 120K protection, you should go after GAS first to blitz him down. Hitting Rex really didn’t do anything for you. It wastes a lot of damage just to stun him. SEE (no Wat) can solo most GAS teams, just never go into your ultimate and you can bleed them dry. Wampa isn’t a reliable counter to that Hux team even without the Datacron. CLS probably would have been a better choice, if you hadn’t used it against GAS. FOST’s Datacron does make that team a lot scarier. Someone used it against me in 3v3 and I figured it would be even better in 5v5 and I’d get some used out of that FO TIE omicron. NS would have been useful against Finn. Aphra will be viable once the Holdo Datacron is gone. I don't really have a go-to counter for Bo-Katan, since most people keep her for offense.

@@GingerJesus somehow just when I thought “it couldn’t POSSIBLY be as bad as the last set”… it’s just as bad. Or worse. Maybe make it a *boost* to make some counters more reliable or just a little nudge to push that team over the edge, but sidious solo against starkiller? Gungans and whatever the hell they have? Reva cron making her go absolute haywire? And perhaps worst of all… holdo and the resistance cron? It’s absolutely ridiculous.
