Good advice! I just chalked it up to Maya liking to dress comfortably, but definitely ask the host the dress code or always dress to impress when invited somewhere. They can get away with it as big tine continent creators, but everyone else should always think about making a first impression cause you never know.

It's very impressive how well developed and professional Barbados' tourism industry is, Congrats. And Mia Mottley's sister is so well spoken and a great host. Truly this Barbados experience is a cut above what I've seen in other caribbean countries so far, Also Barbados is one of the safest in the caribbean...and safety must never be taken for granted because it's a testament to the goodness of the people and good governance. Keep it up.

I was in Barbados a few years ago and one thing i noticed was that Bajans have very beautiful skin, spotless skin ..i never saw anybody with acne or black sports in all the places we visited..my husband asked so many random people after having a conversation how old they were and our jaws dropped when they told us their age, all men in their 60s looked like they're in 40s, women looking far younger than their age..i thought Africans we don't age fast but bajans, wow😮 the beaches were everything..my favorite was Dover beach

This is not for the poor people of Barbados 🇧🇧. We cannot afford that hotel. That is for the rich whites that visits the island. I enjoyed the videos because they do not only show you the rich places but also the natives and the way they live. I love this couple, they work hand in hand. Yes, this restaurant is for anyone,rich, poor, black, white,blue etc as long u can afford to dine there. Some individuals save for this once in a time occasion. Yes they showed case the grassroots side of Barbados. In all societies there are excusite, luxury restaurants that the average cannot afford, for e.g if you are living in the U S A the plaza, rainbow room are not in the average budget, this is everywhere

@@joancommonwealther4968 That is why Maya calls himself a "village boy". This is the most honest thing he says about himself. He is learning these things as he discovers them. People must realize those who grow up in African villages don't do things like fine dining. It would be nice though if he could hire someone to advise him now that he is meeting big people and entering different spaces. That will save him future embarrassment. I must admit though that the thing that gets to me every time is when Maya talks with food in the mouth with a camera in his face. That is not nice at all.

Ones accent should not affect their pronunciation of words. Trudy frequently pronounces words incorrectly and I think it's because her vocabulary is lacking and her listening skills are poor. I have heard other you tubers from Kenya and they are more eloquent than Trudy.

Barbados does offer affordable accommodations and eating at the local restaurants can be reasonable . Some of my most enjoyable meals are at the smaller locally owned restaurants beyond the touristy areas like any other Caribbean island.

I can relate to your remark on the feeling of leaving Barbados. I have travelled to the USA and Asia and live in Europe but the best destination I have been to thus far is Barbados. WOW, that restaurant is truly such a a picturesque. I love it. Meanwhile, I can observe that Wode Maya has since acquired a richer smoother face, since wife moved in. Well done Ms Trudy 😄👍 The PM's sister has a deep voice just like the PM herself. Quite strong women personalities in Barbados. The Wine guys made my day.
