However, I do agree on the quiet, aloof and detachment energy. Most days we just get along and work so well together, other days he is so quiet and detached. Great articulation of the intellectual nature. I think what we all benefit from realizing is that no energy type is good or bad by default but rather energies must match each other. As a highly mentally driven female with almost all air (all Aqua) and fire energy, prominent water and earth combos are not a good fit for me and vice versa. It's just a different wiring and needs and not an implication that either side is superior to the other.

My father is an aquarius and know some aquarius men. One common thing for them is an emotional daltonism and detachment. Really. Most of them are drown in their own reality where physics law doesn't exist and they try hard to prove everyone their irrational point of view. Even facing pure facts they can't accept them and try to corner you by their witt and mess in your head so they can win an argument. They like logic but in their own terms. Pretty smart and unconventional, technology lovers. Every one was very creative. Life with them is tough but if you have your own life, can entertain them by your intellect and you're not so emotional or needy, this one is for you.

Interesting to see in the comments how many people dating an Aquarius are also Aquarius. I am also an Aqua who dated an Aqua and although it ended bad it felt like the only relationship I have ever been in where the other person really understood me. Unfortunately he came with all the other typical Aqua shenanigans and I guess I did too. We were both too unpredictable and impulsive but there was a lot of love there (that was rarely expressed since we were both so bad at expressing emotions 🤣).

Aquarius hmmm, the ironic thing is the guys are the most emotional sign I been around, with Gemini and Cancers too, but unlike the airy Gemini which will use words or find ways to express and work through their anguish, an Aquarius may be as if they don't want to address these emotions at all, so, the wall goes up, or the masks put on, or the personality doubles up or they start to get angry, a sudden complex or something bold or wild happens. Im dating one and he’s loyal but not very attentive. I feel forgotten about most of the time. He can go almost a full day without Hardly communicating. Then when we do communicate it’s usually the same topics. I try to change topics but the change will always come from my end. I have to make initiative for everything and If I mention anything I don’t like he usually Changes the subject so issues never get discussed. Recently I mentioned I felt neglected and explained that he could go a whole day without barely messaging me and he told me that’s just the way he is and that was it.
