I also want to believe that the show let's these guests know beforehand the topic they are gonna be discussing. Certain questions are expected and appropriate if the topic is about dating... I think that everyone already has a preconceived notion about dating in Lagos but you really have to meet people and experience them personally. There are still honest, intentional people willing to commit to a relationship, I mean there's a wedding every weekend. Just don't get carried away with the vibe and hype, stay true to your values and i believe you'll find the right person...

Your comment is spot on. Shows like this are farcical. The first guy that spoke said it all. Shows like this pretend the city's inhabitants live in a society bound by a certain level social justice. Unfortunately not so, the poverty and sheer desperation for people to get out of economic hardship by any means necessary forces people to do things they wouldn't do in a society that was more economically balanced. So yes, everyone is sleeping with everyone, and true there are those genuinely looking for love. However to talk about "dating" like it's New York or London is literally laughable.
let's be honest here, the reality is that a lot of people are in exclusive relationships but are casually dating other people. If someone knows their partners are casually dating other people they will reduce their level of commitment in the union. The fact is that people want others to commit to something they aren't even willing to commit to themselves. Point Blank!

After watching this episode, dating is really the ghetto is Lagos. I just feel people are super selfish, demanding without giving, trying to eat their cake and have it, people don't even know what they want. Osi is funny guy😂 dude has a lot of experience on dating in Lagos, he could write a whole book. Seyi shay was a bit too composed but it's all good, she spoke based on her own experience. Mayowa is a vibe. Seems like a sincere guy, very mature and had a lot of good takes on the conversation. I love Kamsi's content on RU-vid but I did not appreciate her take on the drink discussion. You can be private about your relationship/ dating without denying it. That's not direct. All I can say is Bisola is a damn good host. I love her smile.

I agree 👏🏾As someone who has been watching her channel for a while now and likes her content, I was disappointed in that statement. It's common courtesy to reject a drink from another guy while you're on a date except the guy is clearly okay with it. I'm surprised that her subscribers don't see this and her applauding her or maybe they have the same ideologies. Nevertheless, she separates her dating life from her channel so I shouldn't have expected something specific from her that I don't even know about.

This episode was just about who can throw the most stereotypes around. Gender stereotypes, sexual stereotypes, tribal stereotypes, it was all just flying up and down. And that’s the reality of dating in Lagos, I guess. May the best gamers win. 😂💀
I see Osi's opinion as a representation of a lot of these men, they're most times not down for serious things. They mostly want swings and don't want to give reassurance, there's a little percentage ready to commit so it's best to avoid them when you notice these signs and don't expect them to change, unless you're down like that.
