Dating Trans People 

I never dated until I was 18 that when I come out as a Trans and the guy I dated he treated me as a female know I'm his wife I was lucky he is the only person I been with

I’m not interested in trans woman, but your experience probably isn’t that different for a cis woman I suppose. There’s plenty of cis woman that I’ve dated just for sex and I have no intention of having long term relationships with them either.

The more trans people speak openly about their experience the more likely it is that we will ultimately be increasingly understood and accepted as valid and valuable members of the human community. On the dysphoria thing, It's definitely true that I don't, and maybe can't, get that, but I've dated alot of girls over the years, and most of them had some thing about their body that they were self conscious about (to a decently crippling degree). It sucks when you think someone is attractive, even the parts they hate, but they can't accept how much you like what they hate. It's been difficult, but I've "learned" that you just have to have compassion for their insecurities, and comfort them - helping them feel confidant, playing to their strengths (I really haven't learned though lol, because I can't help but try to communicate how wrong I think they are about themselves). NGL though, it can be exhausting - there has to be some balance on both sides. I'm sorry someone treated you different in public than in private 😞 I know some people are less comfortable with relationship stuff in public, but it's still their job (imo) to put your needs and potential insecurities first, making sure that you know they are proud to be with you everywhere - and communicating any issues openly and honestly. Everyone deserves that in a partner. It's good you've learned to respect yourself enough to ditch those people. However, If you do find someone, who seems worth it, maybe try talking to them - letting them know that it hurts, that this is an insecurity, and asking them if they know they are doing it, because they might not. If it was me I would ask you to help me, when I'm doing something, or someone else is, give me a sign - pet my arm, rub my back, squeeze my hand, ask for or put your arms out for a hug, etc. (like I said, been here before with girls insecurities) - and then I would give you attention in front of everyone, put the issue to bed right there ☺️ Try it with someone, someone worth it, not just anyone (you should ditch most of those people imo), give someone "worth it" (to be determined by you ofc.) a second chance, a fair chance ☺️ I've never dated a trans-woman before, and I'm afraid I would mess something up like that (unconsciously), but I would want a chance to do better, so maybe look for that 🤓

I actually wanted to know how I, a trans femme could date other trans people... Pls give me advice.

I'm actually really happy that I'm a trans lesbian, I legit don't want to deal with men. (I know most men aren't jerks, but still, women r pretty.)

Dating is hard even if you are not trans and you want a serious relationship. There are men who like trans women and are willing to consider a serious relationship with them, but I think they are few and far between. Caution is the most important word for trans women who date men. It is unfortunate that it is this way because I think a large proportion of trans women prefer to be with men.

In simple terms: We Transgirls are humans, not sex dolls.

The semantics of the labels/wording we use is where the muddyed water lies, i believe. If you have fully transitioned, then other than chromosomes and a few other details, you are now that gender. Our past is what people cannot comprehend when its explained.

I hope if i transition, my hormones don't get so switched up I'm suddenly really attracted to men. It can be hard to choose a good choice from a bad one.

The complexities, complications, and controversies begin the moment the word "trans" enters the situation. And, yet, it simply cannot be ignored or dismissed.
