I know just how you feel. I just came out to my mom as trans fem last month and her response was “what do you want me to say? It’s your THING”. I got so mad I told her “well, fuck you bitch. My identity is not a “THING”. Then I hung up on her sorry ass. She was very homophobic and transphobic when I was a kid to. Whenever I started growing my hair nice and long she’d say “you need to go get a haircut. You’re starting to look like a damn little girl. I kicked and cried every time my parents forced me to get a haircut. My stepfather was even worse. I was about 10 or 11 and I was playing basketball in the driveway with my friends when I got pushed face first into the concrete so I started to cry. When my stepdad walked outside and saw this he started laughing then said in front of all my friends “You’re such a big sissy I bet you gotta squat to pee. Then all my friends laughed at me to. That also caused me to loose all my male friends except one.

It can be hard to know for sure what genger you are but as long as you are comfortable with who you are both inside and out to be honest I am straight and have been for a long time but I have been brought up to be love and accept people for who they are believe it or not I have two gay cousins both male and female and I am good friends with and they tough me alot with in the LGBTQ community

i was thinking about transitioning and got bald when i was 19. So i think there are no roots on the head and it´s to late for me. i´m 36 now. i wish i knew this before. But you all go girls! don´t let hairloss ruin your life.

Shannyn Martin did a video about 'passing' She said unless you have been on HRT for a long time, and have had surgery, it is unlikely that you will pass 100%. She said the goal is to be perceived as the gender you wish to be perceived as. I feel you and relate to you. I wasted my teen years being someone my family and kids at school wanted me to be because it was accepted. It wasn’t until after I joined the military and got away from everyone that I remembered since before puberty, that I wanted to be a woman. From that point on I’ve been transitioning. Took a couple years to get hormones and a year to get out of the military
Getting really comfortable lounge wear that fits you and looks good, that is such a good point. You need to be you even when and especially when you're all by your lonesome, and that is easier when you're comfortable. I'm going to take that advice to heart. But when you do dress up, it must be nice to do that with friends. By friends do you mean trans girls or are you able to do this with cis women and go out? Unfortunately I haven't had either experience yet.
